I saw an article on them during the week.Said the revenue has already secured a full time contract for their manager.Theirvl long throw specialist was out delivering sandwiches at 7am and he has a new born so very little sleep.
Let them enjoy their day and I hope we smash them

Weather is beautiful this morning. FA Cup third round weekend on a perfectly frosty Winter’s day - still feels special. Was even thinking about going to a random match in Orient’s tie but it’s sold out (credit to them). Very jealous of anyone going tomorrow.

So woulda coulda shoulda had Cardiff at home ..

Man City, Utd and Newcastle at home too...

I forgot that THIS was the round they start dispensing with all the 'pesky lower league sides'

Typical of us to miss out again...
As we may well be one ourselves before too long!

Nottingham Forest are tonight, Tuesday, playing away at Exeter City. Kick off is 8:00pm. Imagine the journey they face, on a Tuesday night travelling down from Nottingham over 300 miles to flipping Exeter. Why is this?

Meanwhile we have teams selling property to themselves, teams buying and selling their youth players between themselves, a team that has broken every rule in the book spending more than every other club combined in one transfer window. This list is endless

Match day going fans continue to abide to extortionate pricing structures, travelling up and down the country while foreign 'investment' companies snap up our countries heritage making billions in the process

Surely something needs to. nay has to change. Surely fans are sick and tired of this circus, this cattle mentality and the blatant gluttony on display. But how can it change? It easy to say 'just don't go to games then' when you have generations of families supporting one club. It's in their blood. Is it even possible to change?

Seeing as it's Cup Final Day, and I'm embracing all things mid-'80s now to gear up for Wednesday, I'm gonna enjoy the game like we were supposed to in years gone by...

Can't believe the coverage only started at 3pm...
What happened to 9am - 6pm BLANKET coverage??

Also, the 4.30 KO makes a nonsense of the Sacred, televised Saturday 3pm kick off time!

But hey... Don't really mind not care who wins
.. either way has no direct impact on us... other than Palace winning it (and Newcastle the League Cup, and Kane the Bunddesliga) WOULD continue a season of broken hoodoos....
Which WE could add to on Wednesday!

I've a sneaky feeling for Palace... unless City just 'City' it and do what they've invested billions to do!

I want Palace to win it.

Watching this as a “neutral” (come on Palace) I refute any suggestion that it is not prestigious.
It’s a fabulous day.
It’s been demeaned because of premier league money and European competition but it’s still a wonderful tournament and a genuine spectacle.
It’s one that no football fan should turn their nose up as “second rate”- financially it may not be much to speak about, but it’s a marvellous competition, up there with the very best.

I don’t know why they stopped doing the whole day long TV build up, following the teams on the coaches etc. That made it feel special.
There isn’t any real reason they couldn’t do that again.
