The real problem, as always, has been the overall lack of transfer fees and wages monies to spend. Compounded by inept coaching and our always questionable medical department.

I think Lange and Paratici overall have done fine. Paratici obviously better than Lange. The quality of the average player in our squad I think has generally improved since Paratici arrived.

Ange's naive tactics and our shitty medical department have critically depleted the fitness of the both mis-allocated and threadbare squad that Levy purchased for Ange. There's potentially a great of business report to be written about all this shitty mismanagement if someone cared to.

How is it Levy doing "mis-allocation" and yet Fab & Lange getting credit for the praise for the players being decent.... It's the DOFs job to piss about with loans and worry about HG, squad balance etc.

Levy is the chequebook (or lack thereof); not the rest of it.

Basically I don't think Levy lets them do as much good business as they could or should be doing, because he's generally not willing to take a loss on a player, even if it would be to the overall benefit of the club wage structure or squad harmony. I also think he tends to try and force 'flippable' high upside youngsters on the scouting team, which because of how slowly he does business, we end up without options and eventually a short squad without a proper pre-season nearly every season. So yes- I think Paratici and Lange are doing well as they can be under Levy.

Even the slightest bit of evidence behind this theory (so much so that it one can routinely state it as fact?); in particular that Levy (for example) told them to leave Spence out of the EL squad? .....That he insisted that the Grey money wasn't allocated to a LB instead?

I keep on reading people trying to re-establish the notion that we just sign kids so we can turn a profit on them; but history de-bunks that claim so there's no particularly plausibility that that is the case with Sarr, Berg, Gray, Udog, Odoberg either.

......The 'funny' thing is before Fab rocked up people were bitching that we were missing the boat on young quality players and that by the time they were 'proven' we wouldn't be able to afford them. Now we're (attempting) to do that it's frowned upon.

Once again; damned if you do/damned if you don't.

Look- we live in a machiavellian, realpolitik hell-world where no one says anything they mean at all anymore, and maybe never did at all. Do you really think Levy is going to just come out and tell everyone exactly what he was doing and what he intended in any of these situations?

If you're waiting for confirmation from the source itself for proof of anything in this world or life, a great deal of the world must be a complete mystery to you.

I didn't say anything about a statement from Levy.


Again; hypothesis presented as fact doesn't cut it.

Evidence comes in all shapes and sizes; but needs to be irrefutable to some degree to be considered credible......

Just like counter-evidence; such as Ange specifically saying he wanted young players.


I'll ask again.......... Which kids have we historically 'flipped'?

If players work out for us we tend to keep them; not flip them for a profit.... The few exceptions were worldies that outgrew us as a club.
