Paratici and Lange don't perform the same roles though. Lange excels in the technical scouting and analysis departments whereas Paratici has the networks and relationship-building skillset.
I'm not sold on FP coming back, but he's had some short-term transfer successes with Micky (TBD), Lucas (TBD), Gray (TBD), Sarr (TBD), Perisic, Madders, Bentancur, etc and rejigging the academy. Whether any of the young/promising prospects kick on relies heavily on a decent coach.
On paper they should complement each other quite well.

Paratici on his own I'm less enthused by but even then, the least involved Levy has ever been in football decisions and transfer negotiations was under Paratici. For whatever reason, he's one of the few people that he's ever trusted to stay out the way more.
