Management Fabio Paratici

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Paratici isn't the messiah no, he isn't perfect. But are you seriously telling me you'd choose Lange and Frank over FP? If I had the choice I am booting out Lange and Frank tomorrow, not even a second thought.

Remmeber FP pushed for Enrique in the past, and Xavi. Yes he also went for Gattuso etc

But since Lange has been here we've hired Ange and Frank.

Fucking dogshit. The players FP has brought in, have been made to look worse by the dogshit managers Lange has employed.

For me I wouldn't choose FP over Lange and Frank. All 3 can leave tbh, remaining with FP will not help us at all.

Ange was a Levy pick, Levy is best mates with the head of the agency Base that represents Ange

Frank is a Lange choice

We need to get this sorted ASAP. It's a joke, but a cruel one. We won't be effective in signing new players when the house was this messy internally.

Because AFAIK, Paratici is more of the one signing/negotiating for players while Lange is the data guy. Need to know whether Paratici fucks off or stay so Lange's role can be adjusted accordingly/quickly in preparation for the window!

We arent effective in signing new players. Stop.

If I was making up ITK stories, I’d be saying that Levy had agreed to give FP a job before he left and before his ban ended. Then, when Levy left FP started looking for another job immediately because he doesn’t want to share control with Lange and Vinai wants some uber-corporate, data focused DOF that says politically correct things in board meetings

All sounds quite likely though. The only bit I dont believe is the bit about Vinai. That sounds like utter bollocks. He made big decisions at the scum. He's not going to worry about putting a few noses out of joint. He came in before Levy left probably well in the knowledge that ENIC were going to push Levy out. That hardly screams shy and retiring and wanting to please everyone.

Sidford Sidford posted this in the Frank thread but worth sticking in here too. Seems a bit far fetched from Matt Law but as it is us, it could well be likely with how ridiculous we are.

Paratici riddle

Reports emerged from Italy over the weekend that Tottenham’s co-sporting director Fabio Paratici was in talks over taking a job as director of football at Italian club Fiorentina. Paratici and Spurs have not commented on the link and the Italian was present at Tottenham’s defeat by Liverpool, with Spurs insisting they had received no direct approach from Fiorentina.
Paratici was only formally reappointed by Spurs in October, having worked as a contracted consultant for the club during his ban from football. He was re-hired as a co-sporting director with Johan Lange and some sources believe the link to Fiorentina could essentially be an attempted Spurs power-grab by Paratici that would involve Lange being sidelined or even heading for the exit. That is unsubstantiated and it remains to be seen whether Paratici is on his way out, Lange is being frozen out or both men will stay in their co-sporting director roles. Whatever happens will have an impact on Frank and Tottenham’s transfer business.

Having two directors of football was never going to work, this was always going to come to a head quickly.

If we have to pick one or the other then we should stick with Paratici, I think Lange is a complete fraud. Fabio has bought some duffers but I trust him to operate at a high level within the market. Lange seems totally out of his depth and the appointment of Paratici is very similar to what happened with Monchi at Villa and Lange got sidelined and eventually fired.

Cant say I care if Paratici leaves.

Decent eye for a player, but not a high class dof IMO.

Shocking eye for a manager/coach 😄

And his whole "6 deals ready to go then pick one to sign" approach sounds both scattergun and likely to piss people off

EDIT - none which is said to support Lange. He can go too for all I care

So Matt Law saying its all a power play by Paratici to squeeze out Lange. Lol Leverage. 😆

Happy The Sopranos GIF

Paratici seems like a rolodex guy. Anything that goes beyond his contacts is likely not going to happen. I don't dislike him but I'm also not impressed with him.

Just came in to post this. It actually seems entirely plausible to me. He made a move on his old boss at Juve, took his job. Irony is, he wanked Juve while Morata made Inter champions.

and there is a third one with a similar title. God knows what he does all day.

Cheers. Always dubious about this sort of stuff but its obvious something isnt right. He had offers from Italian clubs before we reappointed him but he obviously felt we were a better move, then 7 weeks later he's taking over a team bottom of Serie A. Another clusterfuck. Genuinely this sort of shambles is how bigger clubs end up like Everton did for 10/15 years. Consistent bottom 6 finishes with an occasional relegation fight. Bad appointments, infighting, terrible signings, shit attitudes.
You give the top job to a Goon, get Creep & Crook as DOF, and Frank as head coach.

Yeah that's really a recipe for Spurs success that.

Honestly, the past 6 or so years, we're THE case study in football fuckmanagement.

We should never ever have given the top job to a Gooner, no matter how good he may be. That shows the Lewis family knows nothing about Spurs and they don't give a flying fuck about its history or us fans. That's something we can never let them get away with, never forgive them for.
