On the forums page you can normally see when you've posted in a thread, your avatar normally appears on the thread
Is it still possible to make it so clicking the icon shows your posts in that thread? I think it was possible before the update.
Unfortunately not. The new software uses a completely different search. All I was doing with that before was linking to the search results for your posts in a thread. It seems I can't direct link to that anymore.
You have to manually search "This Thread" and enter your username. Does the same thing.

- Not exactly a problem, more of a suggestion/question...I'm also on a car forum. In that forum, when you're in the 'posting' window (as I am now), the menu bar is at the bottom of the window, as opposed to the top of the window (as it is here, on TFC).
It's much more user-friendly to have the menu bar at the bottom of the window, because it's always right next to you, however much you type or insert into your post.

No, I can't change the editor. There's apparently a new one they're adding with the next update so I'll see then.

Same. Great big bright red eon popups. Since I don't pay I understand the need for ads but popups are grim.
