Match ****Frankfurt v Anges Blue & White Army **** 8pm Thursday 17th of April

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think we all need to collectively agree to stop freaking out and overreacting to each league performance and result from now until the end of the season. The players were clearly not arsed against Wolves and gave away some stupid goals but they were arsed tonight when it mattered. I'd love if we could make 7/8 changes for the league games and still win but its not realistic. Don't be surprised if the team aren't arsed on Monday night against Forrest who have alot more on the line and tbh we'd all prefer to see Forrest make top 5 over Chelsea.

I think its time for us fans to join in with the players and totally bin off the league. If we play well and get a result then its a little bonus but honestly who cares... What matters now is getting to this Europa League final and not picking up any more injuries. That is the bigger picture. Lets not lose sight of that when we lose to Forrest and Liverpool next week
I don’t believe you can just bin off the league and magically turn up to play your best football in the 2 or 3 EL games left.

It just doesn’t work like that. Ask any player..you need match fitness, sharpness, rhythm all of which come from playing regularly. And winning is a habit that needs to be bred.

You have to at least be taking the league games seriously so all this talk of forget the league, rest everybody every week isn’t very practical or serious.

Couldn't have said it better myself. When you're winning, you're fresh as a daisy.

Yeah fair but I'm just going to not freak out over any more league results. I'm taking a 2 week break and just hope we've a fully fit squad when I check back in 😊

We played well apart from the front three in the final 3rd.
Tel showed some promise - Johnson and Solanke produced very little threat.

Kulu grew into the game.

1. They fought for the shirt.
2. We played a more pragmatic, lower risk game and still had decent possession and chances going forward.
3. They defended well, only Romero slide tackle at the end there was stupid. Other than that they kept their heads on and didn't do anything stupid.
4. Ange showed some tactical nous with subs, maybe could have been done earlier but nevertheless going to a back 5 worked out in the end.
5. We move onto a European semi final. Let's play with this same level of maturity. The chaos ball doesn't work. They've proven to themselves more than anything that they can play with their heads switched on. That's the minimum standard now.
6. COYS

The reason we are 15th is that very reason you state.

Too lacklustre, unconcerned and a who gives a damn attitude.

Tonight's result doesn't and shouldn't change anything we have seen over the course of this season.

I hope Levy still fire him, he's not the manager we need.

I read somewhere ( I can't find it now) that Frankfurt's most expensive player ever is (something like) 25 million euros.

So that would basically be a bottom end PL team.

Bit late to the party but it was my birthday and I had a few . Sobered up enough now to say ,

Well bloody done Spurs , perfect end for my birthday

Great battling display , proud of you all

Good night all , my bed is calling
