Match ****Frankfurt v Anges Blue & White Army **** 8pm Thursday 17th of April

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I loved everything about last night in how we played. We were solid, fought for everything, stopped crosses, won headers, got blocks in,played with a back 4 who stayed in shape and countered quickly. We were not open because there’s been a change by the manager. That is the bit that annoys me though. Never saw Porro or Udogie in the middle of the pitch leaving Cuti and Micky exposed once. We went long from goal kicks and never put ourselves under unnecessary pressure. We would be nearer top than bottom 4 if we had adopted this different way of playing from day 1. In modern football you can’t play open because everyone team is very structured and will pick you off. It’s a shame that the game isn’t open and entertaining like the 70s and 89s but this is modern day football and if you don’t adapt you get found out. Last night we adapted and look what happened. If we played our normal game we would have lost. Do we give Ange credit for this or be even more pissed off because he’s only doing it to save his job?? I said a year ago his stubbornness will get him sacked but maybe he’s willing to adapt but usually these managers revert back to what they believe even though that belief doesn’t work. Stick philosophies up your arse. Winning should be the philosophy and last night is how you do it.

Last night WAS NOT ANGEBALL, last night was thinking football
It shows he can play a different way
SO why has he waited so long to play the way we needed too ?

Into the final now (I'm not counting Dodo Glimmer as a danger) Athletic or Man Utd both will very tough and we'll need a better performance than tonight but atleast we're (almost) there now.
Hate these type of comments. Bodø are where they are for a reason and they have performed in Europe for multiple seasons. Although impressive, it's not a fluke that they have come this far. If you think we're going to beat them by default you're in for a surprise. Especially considering how shockingly bad we can be at times.

The game confirmed my belief that this group of players are far better than the results they’ve posted this season. The clear message to them is: see what you can achieve when you actually go out there and grab the game by the balls?
