Last Question on Ekitike

"It's up to me and the player who is playing next to me to eliminate him"

Maybe Danso starts?

Also, if you cba to watch that interview, some cunty questions with obvious alterior motives fired at him. Jay Harris from the Athletic asking him if his hamstrings make him worried about the future of his career... what kind of cunt asks a question like that in a press conference? Sure, if you have a sit down ITW where you can explore different topics in depth then fine but to just jump into that before a big game, with no added context? If I was the Spurs media team, I'd ban him from press conferences and deny any access requests for a question like that.

Being unavailable to play should not have stopped him going. He’s the fucking Captain, it’s the biggest game of the season. It might be the last big game he has for us in terms of his career. So short sighted from all to not go.
This is a good point.

. It speaks volumes about how lost the club is. I remember the lame the dead and Harry Kane and Vic Wanyama hobbling across the pitch to be in the bundel in Amsterdam. Just weird not to bring a supposed leader. Shocking coach we have got

Thanks!

I just saw an interview with sporting director Markus Krösche.

He said that Spurs' current position in the league table shouldn't be used as a benchmark.

Spurs have a strong team, with individual class! Tottenham had many regular players injured at the same time, so they haven't been able to deliver the performance some had expected this season!

He said that Eintracht Frankfurt brought home a good result from London.
It speaks for SGE that they love this Europa League, that they're thinking about the 2022 season, were they had beat a monster like Barcelona, and that such a strong team is our opponent on Thursday!

The city is electric and the stadium will be loud, those are points that will benefit SGE.

This man is light years away from underestimating Tottenham Hotspur – and that's right (and important)!
He sounds as ill informed about us as you do mein Steffen Freund...

That's all well and good, but the time he came back from injury against Chelsea, he blew up after 15 minutes...

I'm not defending Ange, but I'd rather VDV be rested against Southampton or Wolves and is ABLE to play against Frankfurt... mind you match fitness is another issue altogether!

FFS, why does everyone else seem to manage rotation and keep players happy?

We play them, they get injured, we rest them, they wanna play...

Jeez, is it just US?!

If he wasn’t playing in a system which required him to keep bombing up and down the pitch every 30 seconds, he’d probably be okay to play every game.

People moan about him but he’s proven at the highest level and it’s a big miss. They would have feared coming up against him. Their manager singled him out as an important threat before the first match.
People are so blinded by his inefficiency, partly due to Ange naivety, and forgot he's still one of our biggest threat who can score some worldies. We are gonna regret with Son not playing a single minute of part in the 2nd leg.

Right now, Tel looks more dangerous than Son.

Ange would have allowed Son to hobble along doing fuck all for 75 mins if he had travelled. I prefer to see a hungry Tel full of energy and physically able to compete for 90 mins. Back in his old stomping ground with a point to prove.

I think the first 15 minutes tomorrow will give us a very good inkling of what to expect for the outcome .

If we start slowly , let them get the upper hand and their fans really get behind them , it could be a very painful watch .

That said , if our lot can't get themselves up for this , we deserve bugger all .

It's the hope that kills you
