I used to go diving in Bodö some 35 years ago. They have some great diving spots there. First a sunken German transport ship - Rabat that lies on the bottom at 35 meters. There is also a graveyard for sunken fishing vessels that the fishermen sunk themselves during the German WWII occupation, guess it was too make it impossible to be forced to go fishing for the Germans.

Really cool stuff- I don't think I could ever do that- I'd probably throw up in my scuba gear! 😂

Brilliant mate… so from what I could see it was old style standing and terracing ?
Was in block 20 lower block - yep old style terracing with crash barriers allowed alcohol on terraces as well so anyone who didn’t get drenched when the penalty was given got drenched when solanke scored it

Fantastic stadium (not too dissimilar to ours) fantastic home support generally very well organised and managed apart from the bottleneck at the entrance due to 2 people doing body searches on 3000 yids

Hate these type of comments. Bodø are where they are for a reason and they have performed in Europe for multiple seasons. Although impressive, it's not a fluke that they have come this far. If you think we're going to beat them by default you're in for a surprise. Especially considering how shockingly bad we can be at times.

Watched both their games late yesterday, they are well organised, disciplined, and quick, press well.

They are in the semi-final not through luck but hard work.

This won't be the cakewalk we think it will be, especially the away leg.

If we win the Europa I’ll fkn give free hand jobs outside WHL for 48 hours straight

Watched it again without the haze of alcohol (or at least less of a haze) and it really was a fantastic, pragmatic away performance that we rightly had no grounds to expect. I mean honestly, given where we are and what we've witnessed of late, where on earth did that come from? If we can turn this miserable season (thus far) into something special I will genuinely forget everything to the point that I wouldn't even care who was here next season, just to have a taste of joy.

I'm also acutely aware of the chance there could be two North London themed European finals, so there is a chance for maximum pain or joy. Crumbs,
Was that Thatchers HAZE?

It seemed to be a game where the players were really up for it , why that’s been lacking all season , I don’t know , is it their fault , Anges lack of motivation? It’s a cliche but every game should be a cup final, we do seem to have a fragile mindset but it’s been there for years .

Personally, I think it’s a comfort thing , we have a lot of players who are content in giving 5/10 performances

I think the answer is pretty straight forward.

Going deep in a european competition is still a big deal for the players - even for a World Cup winning Romero getting to a semi -final (or hopefully getting to final and/or winning EL is still something good to have on the cv.

So I'm fully expecting to see a lot of effort in the next two or three EL games - my only uncertainty is whether it will transfer into PL games where they want to show enough to win a starting place in the EL games
