Charles Dickens ?
Yeah, the seeding for the knock-outs will depend on where you finish.I realise the first 8 go through to the next round, and the next 16 have a knockout.
So, when the final16 are decided for the next round, do they have ratings or pots depending on where you finished?
You can see on the photo above what appears to be a weakness that Galatasaray exhibited in their game vs Man Utd and which led to a goal being conceded. You can see on the photo above how Galatasaray was not cohesive in its set up. One player was tightly pressing the opposition while the other was not.
And then you can click on this link to watch the sequence of play (from second 28):

Notice how the lower player was late but still decided to try and press. Such a lack of cohesion is generally sign of poor teams and of poor team set-ups. A team can decide to press or not to press but whatever it does it should do it cohesively. As a unit. Altogether. Top teams that press well are extremely well drilled in things like that and all players move together as a single unit, and are very difficult to break down. This was obviously not the case with Galatasaray in this instance and it led to a goal. I suspect that one can generally expect teams in the Turkish league to not be so well drilled and organized as the teams in England, but I've never really watched Turkish football.
The worst thing for me about Turkish people and fighting is their habit of using knives. If you served in BAOR I'm sure that you would have been aware of incidents where the Turkish guys that got in rucks weren't shy about getting the cutlery out. Hopefully our support stay cool and act friendly, so nothing kicks off.I was in Turkey earlier in the year and had a lovely time, people seemed so friendly and the weather was amazing, would highly recommend for a holiday and I will defiantly be going back, my question to all the Turkish fans lurking is how are away fans likely to be treated tonight , obviously i'm talking about those who just want to go to the game and not have a scrap ?
Jesus, it’s like watching Only ConnectYeah, the seeding for the knock-outs will depend on where you finish.

There will be a draw for the play-off round and a draw for the RO16. So as an example 15th will get drawn either 17th or 18th and 16th place will face whoever they don't get on the other side of the bracket. And then in the RO16, 1st or 2nd will draw to see which of the winners (of 15/16/17/18) they face which will also tell them which side of the bracket they're on with the other team ending up on the other side of the bracket. Once the RO16 draw is done, the path to the final should be laid out. The finishing position will also affect who plays home/away when. 1st/2nd would play the return leg at home all the way to the final should they make it.
Did they deport you?
thankfully without the Queen of Smug this time
He should be taking it seriously. I thought he was all about changing the underlying attitude at the club? He doesn't do that by accepting losses and free hits. We should never go into a game not caring if we win, that's losers mentality.I get a nice early told you so in - looking at you @ Jimothy.
Absolutely not a chance that Ange is taking this game seriously - why would he bother, we’re as good as through and the final 4 group games are against bottom half Roma, 3rd in a 2 team league Rangers, relegation zone Hoffenheim and on their holidays Elfsborg.
There is ZERO importance to this match for Spurs, fucking nowt.
Whereas win Sunday, and Ange, who was under pressure a few weeks back, could have Spurs say 3rd in the league, more or less through in the Europa and in a League cup QF.
It’s a no brainer mate

Some of you chatting shit like "we've as good as qualified, the rest of the games are easy". Fuck me, how long have you lot been watching Spurs? Is this your first rodeo? Yeah on paper we should roll over Rangers. Will we though? It's a different question entirely. Theyll be treating it as a cup final, if your attitude, and the attitude of others, is allowed to permeate we'll not take that seriously either and they'll roll us over.
As for the number of kids he's taking, that's the situation we're in. Romero, VDV, Werner, Richy are all injured.
At the end of the day it's personal opinion. I'm much more engaged in the Europa League this season as it's something decent we can win. We can't realistically win the league.
hey, im a galatasaray fan from istanbul, as i mentioned before in this thread, since youre not a fenerbahce or besiktas fan youre gonna be alright unless you get stupidly drunk and look for a trouble. as long as you act friendly no one gonna do anything to you. you can even have fun with the guys i believe. honestly i came to this forum to see some cocky comments like manU fans did last years Ucl game, but you guys seem pretty reasonableI was in Turkey earlier in the year and had a lovely time, people seemed so friendly and the weather was amazing, would highly recommend for a holiday and I will defiantly be going back, my question to all the Turkish fans lurking is how are away fans likely to be treated tonight , obviously i'm talking about those who just want to go to the game and not have a scrap ?
