It was when coming back from COVID.
So few months old - I wouldn't worry about it. Kane was a fat lad growing up, he probably has to work extra hard with a spot on diet for him to be lean all year round.
The profile of that fat though, that he eats and always has (or/also laying down from Glucose) as you say, makes a huge difference to injury potential and oxygen carrying potential through the body into cells, huge.
Just because he loves Haribo, or whatever, it may curtail him at 29 odd ala Rooney, where he could flourish until 33-35 if supported correctly, but also in the now could allow him that elevated recovery potential (Just devour that Flax-Quark Harry!!!).
Anyway...
He's much better at smart running this season, thank the heavens.
