You obviously rate the goal itself, but it also depends on the context, doesn't it (like you liking it more because it was against the spammers). I wonder if lots of people would have gone for the goal against Sunderland if it had secured CL football in the dying minutes of the season.

It was voted in by a independent panel. The fact it was against the Pikeys has nothing to do with it

Its common sense, I dont have any real issue with it.

We all know Levy, and even then - we all know that to any club in the world £80m is the sort of number that gets your attention.

Look at Utd/Ronaldo, even they couldnt say no.

Ideally we can keep Bale one more year and sell him for that sort of sum next summer, but if it happened this summer - at that sort of price I really couldnt complain.

I take on board what you are saying and money is money; What annoys me as a fan is that it is reported that 2 of our coaches are saying the opposite things< get it right!

I'm concerned that Bale will be under too much pressure to live up to his speculative price tag anchor, IF he should stay.
Also, if we did get £50m, £60m or even £70m for him, how much of this will go back in to the transfer pot? Could this cause a rift with AVB if Bale goes, but isn't given an equal, or close to, the same amount to replace him?

If he stays, do we look for a new left winge r and push Bale up front? Terry Henry was a winger... :avbshock:

Bale isn't a striker. He clearly wants to be like Ronaldo and he plays where he wants.

He looks like he has a strong enough belief in himself to handle the pressure. He dragged us through most of last season
