Not sure why some posters shit on gio? He defo is one of our most technical players and tbh someone you like to watch play. His great at running with the ball, can slip a great through ball and has got left slide tackle like giggsy. If Dele could get his form back and start making those trademark runs into the box then gio would be great to have in the team picking out the pass.
Hamstring injury innit? Hard to put a time on especially as the last time he came back a couple of weeks ago he injured himself again first day back. I suspect the club are more cautious this time despite being desperate for him to return. We have seen what happens when you rush players back too quickly with that injury with Dele.
Agreed. I'd rather keep Gio sidelined for a long time and let him heal properly. Than rush him back and this become a recurring problem.

I think the frustration for fans (and probably for the player himself and coaching staff) is that in the first half of the season he was rarely fit enough to manage even 45 minutes in a PL game, and since mid December he's been out injured.
So in practice we are going back to last season when he was last fully fit - which seems a very long time ago now !
Our best player in the 2nd half of last season. When Tanguy was in the doghouse he was carrying our midfield at times so now we've got Tanguy playing well getting the 2 of them in the same side is a must.
