Romance aside, I think he's too damaged tbh.
Sad, but seems to be true.
Hard to tell until we see him on the pitch.
I don't see why he should be.

I know this was shared in another chat but hear me out.
If Everton won't pay the deal we agreed, rip it up and bring Dele back until the end of the season as the Maddison back up.
He knows he needs to earn his way back in and the fitness will take a while so he's not going to get pissed off with bench riding.
Ange is probably as close as you could get to the perfect character to get him going (Dyche as well seems like a good fit btw).
Dele was always a pressing machine and at his best playing on his instincts and with the freedom to make a mistake or 2...
I'm not even kidding. Sell Gio in January and bring Dele if Everton won't pay.

Not unless Ange feels like the player is exaggerating an injury or not dedicated enuf in rehabbing to get back to full fitness - It feels like GLC is often injured for us then suddenly fit for Argentina come the international break … never really tracked it so just a feeling - anyway let’s see what Ange makes (or doesn’t make of GLC) now that he’s back fit.I doubt it, losing confidence in a player just because he is injured for a month doesn't sound like something Ange would do.
He's one of the least committed players on the pitch I've ever seen. Not unless Ange feels like the player is exaggerating an injury or not dedicated enuf in rehabbing to get back to full fitness - It feels like GLC is often injured for us then suddenly fit for Argentina come the international break … never really tracked it so just a feeling - anyway let’s see what Ange makes (or doesn’t make of GLC) now that he’s back fit.

Not that I want him back but we should definitely just write off that fee.
Let him play again.
Would rather give Jamie Donley the minutes or recall Alfie Devine.
It will just be Dele noise all the time. A sideshow we don't need.
He's done nothing in football for the last 3 years. Sadly he's done as a top level footballer in my opinion.

Possibly. Dyche will eventually give Everton stability therefore a decent platform for him to try and get back on track. He might not be done, but he needs to show something is there before he can play for a club that is in the hunt for top 4 in the PL.
Easy decision for some ey?
