I don't see why he should be.
He hasn't been at the top end of things for a few years now. Is it even possible? I know there are late bloomers like Vardy but Dele's had injuries.
I'd love to see a Dele renaissance as much as anybody but, given our current wave of success, I'm not convinced he's the guy to call back. I think we need to source the next young Dele rather than try and crank v1.0 back up.
That said, I'd rather him than Gio. He means nothing to me and has offered us the square root of fuck all so far.

Not for me. We don’t need to gamble on this and I’m pretty sure Ange wouldn’t either. Prime Dele would be brilliant but sadly that ship has sailed a long time ago.
Peak Dele is done and was done about 5 years ago, pointless bringing him back
I wish Dele all the best with his recovery and the rest of his career but coming back to Tottenham at this time is not a good idea for him or us.

He's done nothing in football for the last 3 years. Sadly he's done as a top level footballer in my opinion.
He’s still only 27. He’s the sort of person that Ange could wrap his arms around and help rebuild
Not unless Ange feels like the player is exaggerating an injury or not dedicated enuf in rehabbing to get back to full fitness - It feels like GLC is often injured for us then suddenly fit for Argentina come the international break … never really tracked it so just a feeling - anyway let’s see what Ange makes (or doesn’t make of GLC) now that he’s back fit.
He's one of the least committed players on the pitch I've ever seen.
He just floats about looking half arsed. If I can see that, then Ange can see that.

I wouldn't want him back, simply to draw a line under the poch years.

Not sure why Dele is in this thread but if Everton want to reduce the fee on him then they should drop £10m off the future payments for Richy instead. Something we’d much more prefer I’m sure and probably why this won’t happen at all because Everton won’t be keen for that.
I don’t see either Dele or GLC replacing Maddison Like-for-like. They don’t have the vision or range of passing.
I think GLC might be more a replacement for Sarr in the 8 role during Africa Cup. Bentancur or PEH replacing Biss.
