And you're forgetting Skipp, who I still think has a lot going for him.
He was playing a holding role in the first half (with Deki at the 10) - and not playing it particularly well. Ange corrected his mistake by bringing in PEH at halftime - LoCelso was able to play farther forward after that and did well.
Agree - but Madders is our starter and LoCelso/Deki are our backup 10s. You’re not going to get a player of Erikson (in his prime), Kane or Madders quality to join us as a squad option.
Players that have that have the kind of vision to “see the pass before it’s there” consistently are exceedingly rare. Most teams don’t have one player on their squad with that kind of quality much less two imho

From what i've seen it's more the fact that he gets stuck in, or the opposition try and take him out. But can see him being sidelined for a chunk at times.

Maybe it's not just Spurs but there is a strange "gotcha" thing where Spurs fans want to be the first one to be right about a player being shit and would rather the player not perform and their hot take stay correct.
Good game yesterday, decent finish. I did feel at times earlier in the game, when he lost the ball he was slow to react and track back. Seemed like he was annoyed with himself and almost gave up. If he could change that he's showing he could be worth keep. That being said he's been pretty poor value so needs more that a couple of decent games

Woolwich, UTD, and Chelsea aim to have x2 for every position. Liverpool just take PEDs to keep everyone fit all the time.
