I like Gio and there's clearly a player there but ultimately there's no point keeping him if our manager won't play him.I think we should keep him.
He's getting game time with the current world champions (and now Copa America champions), so the Argies obviously rate him fairly highly.
I posted last season that he should get more minutes, but unfortunately it didn't happen.
He'd be an excellent backup in several positions for the coming season.

Gio getting no minutes ahead of Maddison despite the Maddison stinking out the place the entire 2nd half of the season and Gio playing very well whenever given the opportunity says it all really. Huge failure on Ange's part, we'd have got 4th easily had he got over his Maddison obsession sooner.
Time for Gio to move on for both our sakes and us to replace him with someone 1) built for this league & 2) the manager will actually use.
Who scored the goal?
Who scored the goal?
decent link and run he made there. we could use some of that.

We should sign him...
If only we had one of the best stadiums in the world that generated millions per match day and gave us the financial muscle to sign world class players. Then we could really compete.
No point keeping a player around who simply isn't reliable enough. Guy would get injured just staring at the grass.
I imagine if he played alot more, he'd have spent even more time on the injury table.
Cart track...you people and your stupid fantasies. Any way put Locelso in a box outside our hovel and write 20c or best offer in crayon on box. He's finished at Spurs. If we could have a cart track and a hotel too then that would help!
I'm pretty sure we decided he's so fragile, it wasn't worth breaking him before the window opened.I like Gio and there's clearly a player there but ultimately there's no point keeping him if our manager won't play him.

I wish. Laturo Martinez may be the perfect Striker for an Ange system. We should sign him...

Looks far too proven for us,I wish. Laturo Martinez may be the perfect Striker for an Ange system.
Pay the 100m he is worth it.

Really.....you actually care that gio won the copa America??Stoked for him. Winners.
Hope he gets the club move his after if he wants to be a starter, hasn’t produced enough consistently to take game time away from the new young kids.
If he stays, he hopefully keeps the levels high in training, which isn’t a bad thing either. He has a bit of magic in him!
Maybe he's argentinian?Really.....you actually care that gio won the copa America??
Why ???
He plays for possibly the most dispised national team, or at least one of them from an English perspective. He has done nothing for us, I have no interest in what Argentina win, never have and never will. No matter how many Argentine players we have.....strange to me for anyone to care about an opposing national team.....
