Vicario doesn’t have the poison in his veins from repeated failure and constantly being the butt of mockery from the biggest media outlets in football.
To him he’s busted his backside to get back from injury, been mentally tough and it’s only 1-0 at the halfway point so we are still in the tie.
And from his perspective he’s right but if we are to have a chance in the second leg it will be from guys like Vic, VDV, Odobert, Bergvall, Gray, Spence. Son and Maddison types showed last night they can accept a performance like last night because this is Spurs and it’s what this club always does.
But what does he expect from the fans? They just spent hundreds and thousands to watch such crap. Their presence alone should be a testament to their support and there Vic wanted more. How about just play better for a start?
Maybe he should be asking his team mates for more support rather than fans who’ve shelled out hundreds and travelled abroad in midweek to follow their team?
Unless he wants to pay for them to travel there himself? Then he can tell them how to support their team.
He should be told to wind his fucking neck in a bit.

not really talking about Vic tbh, just that the fanbase in general has become toxic. Especially the hardcore away support. just look at all the videos of Ange ready to beat the shit out of our fans. lose at home on Thursday and i can only imagine the scenes
Because his teammates aren’t fans and can’t sing in the stands to help the team?
If his teammates weren’t playing like feckless cunts he wouldn’t need to ask fans for support. They would already be giving it. He’s trying to give it to people who’ve spent their hard earned cash following a team abroad that’s just played like trash.
Focus on the real issue, which is the performance level not the fans.
I've said it before and I'll say again... Levy has beaten the fan base to within an inch of it's life... you have two camps... those who don't give a shit anymore and those who have or are ready to lash out. It's so toxic right now that I can't see how we turn a corner and get back to something that resembles average. Sacking Ange is all well and good but whoever replaces him will have the same problems... 1. They won't be everyone's first choice 2. They will inherit a mishmash of overpaid underperforming players 3. Will still have to work within Levys parameters and be expected to challenge the top teams. We are screwed. Any other season like this and you write it off and start looking forward to next season. But what is there to look forward to? We won't be any better regardless of who is in charge. Unless we start buying the best and paying them top dollar we will continue to drift, occasionally flirting with top 4/5 when the stars align. What a sad state of affairs.

I don’t even think he was “giving it” based on the video I saw. He was encouraging or stoking.
I think people are over reacting to what he did tbh.
I take your point about the team needing to play better but he himself played well enough to ask the fans for more imo. He came back from injury a month early and has been outstanding on and off the pitch since. We’d have lost by more without him. Fans can respect that imo.

Yeah I don't get what the knicker twistings about. He is just pumped and probably relieved we didn't concede another.. There's a lot of chod talk about liking each other. It's odd, players and fans bond over battling performances where we get results. This blokes attitude has won us games in the past. I think something else is happening here, the way the story is being written up it's like a narrative of descent is being inflated suspicious...Unhappy players and fans Daniel has to act..we are in the end game now
I can't wait for all the leaks coming out now, about players unhappy with the training methods and what not. We need to have it really ugly now, so Levy can really pull the trigger. Everything to protect that fat australian fuck. It's amazing how we reached the level of embarassment we are now, can't remember us been so low since I started to support the club. That's Ange's legacy, I guess, and will take some time to get rid of all the bad things he's done to us.
