I've defended him for his shot stopping but he there is more to being a good goalkeeper than that.

His distribution isn't good and he isn't composed which has an effect on the rest of the team. After the second goal it seemed like no one wanted to even pass the ball back to him.

We might need to get an upgrade this summer.
 
He's simply not good enough to be one of the 'so called' leaders within the squad and has far too much influence for a player of his ability. How the feck can he start shouting or criticise other players when he's often the cause of our woes.
 
All Vicario does is embody the whole squad.

Just when you dare to think consistency might have come calling, it's blasted into touch.

It's not Vicario but the cursed mediocrity that seems to be who we are for now.

It stinks but until that mediocrity lifts, it's this kind of thing more often than not.
 
Nowhere close to being good enough , is there a worse keeper in the premier league, I don't think so. No command of his area, woeful with his feet,little to no composure, decent shot stopper, but that is it. He must be a dread to play in front of, not knowing what he will do next or who he will then shout at and blame. Reminds me of Gomes at his calamitous best.
 
I’ve steadfastly backed him. Just smash it into row Z, I’m not sure what he was even attempting to do with his clearance. If you’re keeping it in play then a high ball down the line. His lack of accountability was embarrassing, I still back him and he’s saved us points on numerous occasions, we don’t win the EL without him.

Remember when we could have signed Reya and baulked at the transfer fee and went for the cheaper Vicario instead.

And people on here convinced themselves that 'Don' Levy had got the better deal 😆
 
Raya really isn't all that good though. Also he's a bit of a cunt too.

Vicario is the embodiment of this team as a whole - bang average, which is why we're tenth.
 
One positive thing about booing him is that there will be no more ridiculous takes that our home fans are racists - which was discussed when they booed Davinson.
 
I've been a defender of Vic but that's one of the most braindead pieces of goalkeeping I've seen in a long time.

Just punt it into the crowd you absolute buffoon. Given the scoreline and the pressure on the team/manager it's outright negligence to do that.
