Player Guglielmo Vicario

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

yep, hes a nasty piece of work. hes very lucky its a squad full of meek boys, if he tried that shit with an actual man in the changing room hed be pulled up on it and put in his place the flappy twonk.

its fucking cringe that someone who plays football with feet ronald mcdonald would turn his nose up at, has the nerve to berate anyone.

his days were numbered when he got rightly booed after the fulham gaffe anyway. fans have seen enough.
I'd wish he'd tried his flouncing and tantrums when we had Miller and Roberts at centre back.

3 x 3 divided by pie squared multiplied by pytheagorean theoraem add 2 Brazilian butt lifts.

The amount of mental gymnastics and picture frame evaluation done to divert blame from Gray and pin it on another of the boards least fashionable target practice players is so desperate it's funny.

The manager blames Gray, our own player blames Gray, hell even Gray blames Gray but nah the fighting cock will not have it.
That is because Vicario is immune from blame. He is a shocking keeper. The fact is distribution is so poor is why we see about 10-40% chances by the other team. The man cannot collect/punch a cross. He is league one level in everything but reaction saves. The fact until recently he was considered untouchable is absolutely ridiculous. His days should have been numbered since we played Man City in the FA cup.

Vicar should be sold. I’m wondering if Trafford would like to leave Donnerumma’s shadow

Pep said yesterday (I think) Trafford is going nowhere this year.

Although Im not against trying, would help the HG quota.

Vicario? Ive no particular dislike of him personally, can see his strengths and weaknesses as a keeper. I think we can do better and arguably need someone with different characteristics in there.

If thats Trafford Ive no idea, dont know enough about him.

But basically if we sold Vicario Id give 0 fucks

Lol@Shady's paragraphs of utter fucking drivel.

And the funny thing Is you cant rebuttal them, you cant even fucking tag properly or guess what even use the ignore function, are you 70 years old? No wonder you got a co-sign ftom thst other geriatic on the forum lmao

Perhaps you should learn to use the forum first and then maybe we can take you a bit more seriously, until then...

Played it to Palhinha's weaker foot here, guess what he did here...

It's not that difficult skill to play a first time pass, you're acting as if you're asking for something which is impossible for a competent player to do, the fact that you're going on about his 'weaker foot' is hilarious - the guy is a professional footballer for God's sake, he's not a child.
This is another pointless pass it ends back at Vicario the ball also is not bobbling into Palhina whos first instinct is always sideways. The fact is Vicario is absolute liability he misplaces passes up to an average of 8 times a game this season. Vicario has more errors leading to goals than any other player in the Premier League this season. That is without counting being beaten by almost every shot from outsid/edge of the area.

I mean, Guardiola lives with passes like this:

And by the way Trafford's pass was wrong not because he should've kicked it long, but because there was another City player making himself available as the middleman had Trafford waited for another second. He just chose the wrong guy.

As illustrated with white double sided arrows, Sarr was going with Gonzalez and Bentancur would've had to go with Rico Lewis to open up the middle for the free pass illustrated with red dotted arrow and "1" .Then it would've been a simple triangle, illustrated by red dotted arrow and "2", or the recipient turning and bursting forward with the ball himself.

Didn't know that this simple concept that every manager uses these days was so controversial. You learn something new every day.

I find it pretty alarming that people who watch football still struggle with what is a basic rehearsed move to bait the press, literally every manager wants their keepers to play like this, it's high risk high reward.

What's the reward if the opposition team stay goal side of their opposition? It's high risk, dumb football. Why if a full back is standing in 30 yards of space does a midfielder have to come running back, many times under pressure, to pass to the full back instead of the keeper pass direct to them?

It's part of the whole game of football being dumbed down.

Actually watch this, this is very good illustration

have no objection to teams trying to play out, but you need to have competent players who can actually pass a ball cleanly, it also should be mixed up, theres times when we can all see a mistake is coming, players should sense that too and not take the chance.

trying to play out when you have a couple donkeys at the back/in goal is football suicide at times.

For those few examples I could find an equal amount of examples of various teams losing the ball to the press and gifting a goal, heck I could probably find a good ten or so of those examples of just us doing that over the last 2-3 seasons....

If I could be arsed and didn't have work. (perhaps somebody else could do it on my behalf)

You see a team gaff a goal trying to play out every other week on MotD.

I personally think its fucking dumb particularly if you have Vic in goal who can't pass water

That last video is one of the worst things I've ever seen. Everything is based on the poster's presumption of tactics and reaction.on other words, a great idea....until it's not

I love the IDEA of playing out from the back, but the evidence is just overwhelming that we don't have the quality or decision-making under pressure to do so. If we had quicker build-up play to take advantage of inviting this pressure then it might be worth it, but we're slow and lazy about going forward.

Thomas Frank and the players are reverting back to Angeball before our very eyes.

I agree.

And I think people follow trends in football. City started playing out of the back and Pep is a genious so then it follows that you started to see other sides trying to emulate it even if they didn't have the personel.

Fast forward to this season and the back end of last season, Woolwich started scoring goals from corners and even experimenting with the long throw. Now its all the rage. Brentford do it, we do it. You see it just about every game. Somebody trying to do a long throw and half the time they don't even have the technique or basic upper body strength.

Basic Stoke ball came full circle.

People are suckers for a trend.

I'm sure we will see a return to 4-4-fucking-2 before long....

They're examples to show the benefits of why teams play out from the back not to show you it will always work.

The alternative of course is to keep going long and just punting the ball upfield but then youre constantly coughing up possession so...

That's the point, teams use it to open up space on the pitch so they can progress the ball up the pitch, it's a game of cat and mouse.
