So… Kinsky or Austin til the end of the season? Wow… lol.
Vicario was very poorly placed on that corner: instead of placing himself in the middle of the goal (which a quality keeper would have done) he stood way too far to the left. If he had positioned himself better on that corner he would have saved it.

I have not rated Vic since he shouted at Bergvall on his debut against Leicester, first game of last season.
Yet I had people telling me his behaviour was normal, just a way about going things especially in football and as you said, Vic is far from perfection.
Vic is not the only one who does this though, not that it excuses him.
we've got a three week break, but let's not pretend it really matters. He's rarely keeping us in a game
Although it was close, I still don't think he needed to tip that over the bar to give away the corner they scored from.
I really hope they sack Tudor, get someone else in and Kinsky gets a chance for a redemption arc that keeps us up as Vicario is brutal and I want his taxi already booked from the hospital to the airport tbh.
7 crucial games to go and the operation is now and he was playing injured? Between the manager, the board and the medical team something fucking stinks.
Maybe they had a Groupon on operations or something they needed to use by the end of the financial year.

The Italian basically means 'See you soon' and he's only directed it at the Italian national IG account so I think he's made his mind up.

Yeah frankly I’m not sure how anyone could do much worse. As long as Austin does bog standard stuff he’s halfway there.
Vicario is letting shots through him and can’t kick a ball. He also has 1 or 2 nervous build up moments a match. He usually makes at least one top save a game too but it’s negated by the shot he should definitely save and the errors and distribution.
Kinsky had his disastrous period against Atletico but outside the weird pitch it’s hard to see how he could be a noticeably crapper option.
Vicario is a lot,lot better than Kinsky.
Kinsky makes basic clear cut errors that cost goals.
Vicario rarely does. Liverpool free kick was one of the few. He also makes excellent saves.
He has been off this season maybe the hernia has contributed.
His distribution is frustrating I agree.

I know it's the worse time to bring it up as the situation is dire, but I feel like Vic can get the same filter as Hugo used to. Goalkeepers aren't like strikers (or Eriksen) where they have a bad game for 80 mins and a good 10 mins gets them MoTM - they have to be on it all game. So Vicario is like that, where some will say "oh but that Salah save" etc and think it makes up for how erratic he is.
We need a normal keeper and normal CBs, not these oddbods we have in VdV and Romero (who think they are AMs) or a Goalkeeper that is like a Temu Barthez. Give me Brad Friedel any day over him
Before the Liverpool game he had made a number of high profile gaffes which is why he was dropped for a kid in the Atletico game in the first place. I feel gaslit when I see posts like this.

The Atletico game with the pitch where they were all falling on their arse was the first ever game that Kinsky started when both Romero and/or Van der Ven were starting.
There's a reason Brandon Austin hasn't been selected and that fucking clown you always jump to defend is out. Deal with it.
Maybe he isn't good enough, but if he never gets to play with a first choice back 4 (as fucking shite as they seemingly are anyway), what the fuck does anyone expect?

And btw - I am not saying Vicario has been great.
I am saying you have to be deluded to think Kinsky should play instead.
He was probably rested for the Athletico game
In the same way Raya was for the LC.
If we had a better back up , dropping Vicario would be fine.
