Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

That is quite enlightening. Do you have the numbers for Goals+assists in these. Many times the assist is better than the goal (eg Ndombele, Lucas and Kane's work was obviously more difficult than Son putting the ball in the empty goal for the 3rd) .

I think you're forgetting Son has the best goals above xG in Europe.

Clearly our best and most efficient attacker

And some say he's patchy

Lol so now that we're talking about Son and not Kane, we need to understand how he scored them right? So we can discredit his goals.

If there's anyone that scores easy goals (tap ins + penalties) on our team, it's Kane.
You are just getting overexcited and hyper. I was pointing out how assists are sometimes better than goals, so a combined total is probably better to show rather than just plain goals.

I just took a look at a few forwards' goal record against the Big 4. Every single one of them outscored Kane. I could do a wider search but I think this will get the point across.

Goals against the Big 4 since 18/19 season:
Son: 11 goals
Aubameyang: 10 goals
Salah*: 10 goals
Vardy: 8 goals
Jiminez**: 7 goals
Kane: 5 goals

*Only includes games against 3 teams (City, Utd, Chelsea)
**Missed the majority of last season due to head injury

If this doesn't convince you that Kane is a flat track bully, I'm not sure what will.

You really have to stop comparing Kane to Lewandowski. Just stop.

Kane needs to match or even get a sniff of Son in games against good teams before you start comparing him to the world class stars like Lewandowski, Salah, Messi, Ronaldo etc.

It's debatable as to whether he's even the best attacker on his team over the last 3 seasons.

Why should I? Kane's record isn't far off his at all, despite playing in a far worse team and in a much, much more difficult and physically taxing league. Unlike a few weirdo's here who love clutching at straws, I count all goals, despite who they are scored against.

I don't care about what big teams Lewandowski has scored against, and who Kane has and hasn't. The vast majority of his (Lewandowski) league goals come against poor to average teams. Fact.

Like Robert then. Excluding Bayern, any other of the best sides in Germany would struggle to make the top half here. A fair few of them would struggle to get out of the Championship for fucks sake.
You apparently don't follow this thread closely. I've addressed this many times.

If you don't think the Bundesliga is good enough then fine.

As a statistical reference, Lewandowski does have 32 goals and 6 assists in 26 apps in the Champions League over the last 3 seasons.

During this time period, he's got 10 goals in 10 apps against the following top top sides: Liverpool, Barcelona, Chelsea, PSG, Ajax.

Flat track bully? No, Lewandowski is not a flat track bully whatsoever.

Had the same arguement with people here in ireland about robbie keane at international level.
If its so easy why isnt everyone banging in them level of goals though 🤷‍♂️
Obviously no player is beyond criticism but some people really struggle with perspective and the ability to recognise exceptional talent when their team has it.

Keane excelled at his job as a goal-scorer. Kane does too.
