Depends on one's definition of world class, I suppose.

Personally, I have Kane on the same level as the likes of Lewandowski and Lukaku. Which, in my humblest of opinions, is still world class.

Messi and Ronaldo are of course, generational players whose abilities transcend the sport.

My definition is all time, I’ve explained this 50 times but you prefer to click x than read.

I don’t rate world class as levels 1-5, where Ronaldo is world class level 1 and Kane level 5

That means Kane isn’t world class to me.
Henry, Zlatan etc can all rub shoulders with Ronaldo and Messi.
That’s the difference here.

How many do you want? - Probably my favourite Spurs 2 Man City 0 - possibly Mourinho's best game - Kane played deep was utterly majestic in possesion and created the crucial second goal ... guess you missed that one.

or how about this one? As a Spurs fan you must know the game I mean -

Kane overcame fitness concerns to lead the line, registering yet another assist for Son's opener, before netting himself to become the all-time leading scorer in north London derbies with his 11 goals. Utd we’re 16th and he played as well as Moura did, but good game

City were 12th, decent performance in a match we had two shots, hardly think he was the key to victory when most of the game was on our 18 yard box

Woolwich are shite
Leicester was the only top 6 club he scored against which I’ve acknowledged. Also last game of the season and not a big game

How did he do in the final, or semi against Brentford?
Or against City and Utd when they were good?

I, and most people, would consider games against the scum and the Manchester sides to be ‘big games’.

Doesn’t matter how shite Woolwich we’re/are, that’s our biggest game of the season, every season. Or for most spurs fans, it is.

You can’t just say they weren’t to make it suit you. Sorry Sammy but that’s not on.

Is this how we judge teams now, where they happened to be in the table when we played them? Both of these games were early in the season when the league table hasn't taken shape at all, where they happened to be was and is irrelevant.

They were two teams who ended up second and first.
