Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Amazing how a world class, once in a generation record breaking, all round, complete, adapting goal scoring and assisting big game player isn’t considered one of the all time best players.

:mourshock:

Depends on one's definition of world class, I suppose.

Personally, I have Kane on the same level as the likes of Lewandowski and Lukaku. Which, in my humblest of opinions, is still world class.

Messi and Ronaldo are of course, generational players whose abilities transcend the sport.

Nice attempt at baiting me, good sir, but I have no intention of any further ill will with your good self. Love you xx

My definition is all time, I’ve explained this 50 times but you prefer to click x than read.

I don’t rate world class as levels 1-5, where Ronaldo is world class level 1 and Kane level 5

That means Kane isn’t world class to me.
Henry, Zlatan etc can all rub shoulders with Ronaldo and Messi.
That’s the difference here.

That's fine. We have different opinions on world class. It's not a gap we're gonna bridge and both opinions are valid. Hope you have a lovely, relaxing day.

I had to resort to the 'x' button when you started whinging 500 billion times - ain't nobody got time to read all that! But hey ho, yesterday was yesterday.

I'd call you thick as pigshit but that would be harsh on the shit ....

I said "Obviously Cruyff and Messi are world class, but equally obviously even they couldn't drag their team over the line in two world cup finals" ... post #47,229

Somehow your limited brain read that and got "claimed the Dutch won the 94 WC" no wonder they don't let you have any sharp objects .... you're dangerously stupid.

but watching with the commentary on you'd think Newcastle were 5-0 up playing like the dutch world cup winning sides of the nineties

Here it is in black and white

You've been OWNED again

Give me an example of a big game he played well in last season

How many do you want? - Probably my favourite Spurs 2 Man City 0 - possibly Mourinho's best game - Kane played deep was utterly majestic in possesion and created the crucial second goal ... guess you missed that one.

or how about this one? As a Spurs fan you must know the game I mean -

Kane overcame fitness concerns to lead the line, registering yet another assist for Son's opener, before netting himself to become the all-time leading scorer in north London derbies with his 11 goals. Not only that, but the all-action striker also brought up his 250th goal for club and country, as well as his 100th home goal for Spurs, although remarkably it was more the defensive work he did, especially when defending corners, that he will most be remembered for.

Spurs 6 Man Utd 1 - 2 goals
Spurs 2 Man City 0 - player of the match and assisted https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54941200
Spurs 2 Woolwich 0 - excellent performance, scored.
Spurs 4 Leicester 2 - scored and played very well

You're welcome my good man
Utd we’re 16th and he played as well as Moura did, but good game

City were 12th, decent performance in a match we had two shots, hardly think he was the key to victory when most of the game was on our 18 yard box

Woolwich are shite
Leicester was the only top 6 club he scored against which I’ve acknowledged. Also last game of the season and not a big game

How did he do in the final, or semi against Brentford?
Or against City and Utd when they were good?

With all due respect, you’re moving the goalposts now.

I, and most people, would consider games against the scum and the Manchester sides to be ‘big games’.

Doesn’t matter how shite Woolwich we’re/are, that’s our biggest game of the season, every season. Or for most spurs fans, it is.

You can’t just say they weren’t to make it suit you. Sorry Sammy but that’s not on.

You asked for big games, you were given big games. To argue otherwise is just ridiculous.

End of story matey 👍🏾

Is this how we judge teams now, where they happened to be in the table when we played them? Both of these games were early in the season when the league table hasn't taken shape at all, where they happened to be was and is irrelevant.

They were two teams who ended up second and first.

I’ve not included them in any “top 4” calculation I’ve made. Why would I?

West Ham is also a big game.
So is Millwall in a cup

You sad litter fecker ... when made to look stupid you come back having a dig at out club ... that just about sums you up right there.
Where’s the dig at the club.
Most of you twats were slating Jose for playing counter attacking football I said.

I wasn’t, as I was behind Jose

Try again, have you got the stats for how many times Kane touched the ball that wasn’t heading out a corner 😂
