It has. He has a player changed due to ankle injuries. There are some aspects of his play I preferred before, but he's a more mature striker nowadays. He didn't score as much as his best seasons last campaign either, he got a lot of absolutely brilliant assists from some pinpoint passes which added to his contributions .. you know, during that period we actually had a game-plan?
I don't think he'll score 30+ in the league again, but his hold up play and passing ability has massively improved since he broke through.

Right but what does that have anything to do with him having less goal contributions (goals + assists) than Son since the start of 18/19. It's not like Son has had a massive spike in goal contributions. Since his 2nd year, he's been more or less a ~20-22 goal contribution type of player.

It’s more nuanced than that; both Jose and Nuno sucked the life out the team. Every Spurs player “declined” to use your term.
Since 2019 Kane has scored 28 goals in 23 competitive matches for England, but I’m sure you’ll find a way to twist that stat to fit your narrative.
