Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Will never win a trophy at this club. So, unless he wants to see his career be trophy less for the rest of his playing time, then he will stay at spurs. If he wants to seriously win trophies, then he will leave, it’s as simple as that. Obviously I don’t want him to go, but he’s far to good to be playing with these bunch of losers every season

Today he must have been like Korean headless chicken to the left, Brazilian headless chicken to the right and Wanks and Sissucko behind.

I would have like to have seen what Harry and Bale could have done this season had they gotten a chance to play more minutes together.

:mourfacepalm:

Sometimes I wonder if I am watching a different game to others. I thought he looked sharp and did well on the ball when he got it, especially in the second half. Put others in good positions with nice passes but they ballsed it up every time (mostly Son and PEH once) .

The commentators said he bollocked Winks after 5 minutes. It is a shame the picture was on a replay when it happened, would have loved to see it.

Once again rushed back knowing he wasn't fully fit and ready and it showed. No desire to get into their box today. Disappointing performance from the star man.

Sorry but he was part of the problem today, just jogged around, zero intensity. Not convinced he was fit but once again anonymous in a final.

Let him go, past caring.

‘Let him go, past caring’......are you pissed or just dumb? He injured his ankle just over a week ago (after scoring 2 goals and breaking another record). He wasn’t able to join in trainIng because of the injury and was touch and go on whether he could start. I can only presume he was injected up to the eye balls with pain killers to allow him to play today but he put his body on the line. Despite all the above he was far from our worse player today. And yet he gets slagged off by so call fans.

From the last journalist to interview Harry Kane..... this should be an interesting summer.

So City have won 8 out of 12 domestic trophies the last 4 years. Liverpool's little period of challenging them seems over. There really no guarantee of trophies in any club apart from City. This is very troubling for the PL to have such a dominant team. Damn them for not enforcing the FFP rules.

There doesn't seem to be a good way to resolve this situation.

Only petro-clubs have the money to buy Kane in this environment.

City would work, but they want Haaland and will likely get him.

PSG would work, especially if they lose Mbappe (but to who?) but does Kane want to go abroad? And to France? Kane's not an idiot, Poch will lose that job in five seconds if anything goes wrong.

I actually thought he did ok in the 2nd half. Most of our decent moments went though him.

If he leaves we're in trouble, but I certainly can't fault him for wanting to.

If i was them Haaland would be my choice as well. Money is no object and he can be their number 9 for a decade. Kane won't do that.

Utd possibly could come in for him but no guarantee he'll win trophies there. Then it's abroad and does he really want to move his young family to another country? From what i gather that's a no.

It's not as straightforward leaving us as most would think.

Bayern will win 8 in a row in Germany this season. Juventus won 9 in a row in Italy up to last season. PSG have won 8 of the last 9 in France. Atletcio Madrid were looking good in Spain for a long time but have collapsed so it’s most likely Real or Barcelona for 16 of last 17 titles between them.

Most domestic leagues now are inherently very uncompetitive. English Premier League going that way too now with Citeh.

Yeah it's not straightforward at all.

It's all speculation of course, but I think Kane is probably very conflicted. He loves Spurs, but he knows he'll never fulfill his career ambitions here. He's engaged by the idea of going to a glitzy foreign superclub, but I'm sure he's determined to break Shearer's record.

Maybe United squares that circle. Oof, that would suck.

Kane to United makes no sense to me. They are doing better than us currently, but they are no where near to competing for the PL title or the CL title and haven't for a long time.

Maybe he thinks they can win a domestic Cup but I can't see Kane moving to for a better chance at the Carabao Cup.

Unless United cans Ole and brings in a real manager along with some new players it makes no sense for him to move because even with his addition it is hard to see United winning anything big with Ole at the wheel, Lindelof as a first choice CB and a midfield built around Pogba, McTominay and Fred.
