I don't think the Liverpool team that has played this year is better than ours. If they had been healthy yes but not with the CB's they have been forced to play.
A team of quality should have been built around him.

They'll more than likely finish above us so they will have been better than us this year, despite the freak season they've had. Realistically how many of our players would get into their team? The only two you can name are Kane and Son, but would any Liverpool fan really take them over Salah and Mane? We're talking two at best. My point being having Kane and Son doesn't mean we should automatically be good enough for a top 4 place, that's a load of nonsense, as is the fact that they can't be world-class because we haven't. That's just ridiculous.

They will finish above us because they manager dealt with the injuries and set the up to play to their strengths, while we wasted the season with a moron who did his best to undermine us and then replaced him with a guy who has never managed in his life.
Toby and Rodon both are better than the CB's they played for the majority of this year. Dier and Sanchez at least on the level of them as well.
Ndomebele, PEH, Lo Celso would have started when they were forced to play Henderson and Fabinho at CB instead of the MF.

There’s a few pieces in the jigsaw. What the second all English pairing in the European Cup final in three seasons has borne out is that EPL is streets ahead of all the other so called big leagues at the moment. Serie A has been a shambles for over a decade now. Spanish league has possibly been going that way for a few years now. Mind boggling levels of debt at both Barcelona and Real Madrid and veteran squads at Real in particular that need a serious overhaul. PSG are just the like big fish in a shit league, albeit the nearly man is quite possibly going to preside over them not extending their run to 9 of the last 10, this season.
Bottom line, Premier League is where it’s at, at the moment. Moving out of England is a downgrade for Harry. I’d imagine Haaland, who’s the Number 1 target in the market, should be looking to coming to England. Citeh have to be in prime position, with the deepest pockets, the cult of Pep as manager and his old man Alf-Inge played for them as well.
After Citeh, Chavs and a rejuvenated and rested Dippers presumably the two sides to challenge Citeh as both have heavyweight managers. Man U is not a huge upgrade for Harry on his current position. They’re going nowhere in terms of winning big prizes with Solskjaer at the helm.
This season was a freak season for them. But if they have their best 11 out, it pisses all over ours basically. As does Chelsea's, as does United's etc. Kane and Son are world-class players but you could probably have Messi and Ronaldo in the same Spurs side currently and we woudn't be challenging. We're a million miles away, and next season the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea will undoubtedly be even stronger so it's only going to get more difficult, not easier.
I always get the impression watching PSG, that 4 or 5 of their starting side are Brighton and Burnley type standard. They have their superstars but they have some serious dross as well.

i think youre extremely lenient with your tag of world class. kane probably doesnt start for a world 11 he would make the bench i think. son gets absolutely no where near the squad, good finisher when put in behind but in terms of actual build up play hes a poor footballer. if he was world class we wouldnt be where we are

Nobody really challenged City this year and not sure anyone will next year so we are far from alone.
I do agree if we are not strengthening the squad then the gap will increase. luckily for us we have lots of incentive to strengthen the team.

I think that Kane, Son and Ndombele could get in to their best 11, but I was never talking about their best 11 I was talking about their season this year which had MFers, Phillips and Kabak playing as CBs for most of the season.

Is he the top goal scorer & assist in Europe ? He is excellent at hold up play & his assists speak volumes about his all in all play . How many times is he the one who clears the ball from an oppositions corner ?
Team chemistry is key , along with morale , self belief , mental fragility & ironing out stupid mistakes . That’s were we fall short
