Kane has had chances to win trophies but supposedly wants to go somewhere where it is kind of guaranteed.

What an absolute tosser and shows maybe went we should sell him.

Saying this, two things I am sure of:
1. Kane isn’t going anywhere. We’d ask too much for a guy in his late twenties, with a decent length of contract and regular injuries.
2. If we do get bids and don’t sell him, then he goes on to have a bad year, Levy will be the cunt who should have sold him when he could.

Nobody should be surprised that he wants to leave. He’s had many opportunities recently to publicly say “I am not interested in leaving Tottenham“ and he never has.

That's right.
Yet for me I would not regard him as a true club legend if he leaves this summer.
The legends are the players that won trophies for the team right, as teams trophies are all that matter by his own reasoning.

Imagine a guy winning 2 league cups and the UEFA Cup.. getting relegated to the 2nd division, staying to get us promoted again - then go on to win another UEFA Cup and a couple of FA Cups.
 
Doubt he goes. If he does, hopefully it's to PSG. Plenty of good players in the world, let's hope the club manages this with at least a baseline competence.

You are delusional beyond doubt if you think selling Kane could be a positive. Fuck your Spurs sentiments, we want what’s best for this club and that’s Spurs keeping the greatest player we have had in the premier league era. He can leave, but there's a respectful way to do it. Hazard left Chelsea in a respectful way for example. If it's the case that he and his camp are leaking stories to the press etc to try and force a move, that's not respectful, particularly for someone with his history with the club. I hold him to a higher standard than Modric or Berbatov.

New to the forum, but wanted to chuck in my two pence regarding Harry Kane. He cost us nothing having come through the academy, so why not deny his request, hold him to the contract that HE signed up until 2024 and then let him leave for free in three years time. It's about time that some power was taken back from the players - they are the ones (along with their representatives) that sign these contracts for decent money and then think that they can just up sticks and leave whenever things don't go their way!
