Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Because they think Levy will think we owe Kane a favour and sell him cheap at £100m because of his service to us. Completely ignoring the whole history of Levy and how he thinks and behaves.
There is probably truth in the offer last year and Levy asking him to stay another year, then reneging as we’ve got progressively worse

Where has this 150 million figure that's being bounded about actually come from? I think a couple of years back, after the World Cup, we would have got that. Now I think we'll do well to get 100 million from someone. Again, I don't think many clubs can actually pay that, or would be willing to, and I can only a player(s) plus cash deal. Would anyone take Icardi (forgetting for a moment even if he would actually want to come, which he probably wouldn't) plus money off PSG? He was useless against Man City recently but has a Kane like scoring record.

I mentioned it in another thread but he and his wife are insane and bring a lot of issues with them. He is also a little older than what I think we need. I would also worry about how happy he would be going from PSG to us under a bit of a rebuild.

I think if he said he was happy to come and it didn't affect the price too much he would be a decent guy to bring in based on talent alone. We likely aren't getting a better player, at least for next year, but there are too many issues for me to have him being a key part of a deal for Kane.

It's not our problem if clubs can't or won't pay it though, I'd be raging if Levy ended up selling Kane for around the same fee he got for Bale almost a decade ago.

If no-one will pay the fee then we keep him, simple as that, we absolutely do NOT lower the fee to accommodate Kane and the Oil cunts who spend £200m on a reserve defence!

I can't understand how posters are on here demanding at least £150million for him, then going on to say how he doesn't turn up in the biggest games??

Kinda contradicts.

But if that was the price we put on him (and to be honest it would cost us that much to replace the job he does for us) and no-one wants to pay it then he goes nowhere.
I don't know what the market rate would be but he is a special player who is incredibly important to us so if he were for sale then I would expect top top money otherwise Levy has failed at the one thing he is good at.

Be a risky one for Levy but can’t help but think Kane is more needed by Chelsea than City.

The problem I see is that the tops clubs are all really going to want Haaland, and Kane will be the second choice. He's much younger than Kane and would potentially give much better value for money. So the fact Kane would be 2nd choice for the likes of City and United would probably mean that they wouldn't go crazy to sign him while Haaland is still at Dortmund, unless they get desperate. And with Cavani signing on for another year with United and Pepe tinkering for months without an actual striker on the pitch, I don't think either of those two clubs are.

Kane goes, game over for me. Don’t want to watch him in any shirt in the prem next season and won’t be investing any more money in Spurs. Not sure Spurs fans realise how damaging this will be. People with their head in the sand and the bullshit of “we are Spurs and we will move on”, fuck off!!!! You are the problem. You should be spitting feathers at the board and Levy for letting this happen. Punish them where it matters, in their pockets. If they can’t be assed to invest and show our best player ambition, then why should we bother.
