Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Harry Kane has set his sights on a move to #ManCity, believing the #PL champions are ready to follow up their interest with a bid. @ManCity are believed to have made 'discreet enquiries', but Daniel Levy is 'adamant' that he will not sell to them.

I mean, if levy doesn't let him go to Chelsea, he earns a point in my book. Balances out the minus a gazillion points he has atm

After the Caribou Cup final:

Kyle Walker: Unlucky, Harry, should have come with me to the big boys!

Harry Kane: Haha, nah, not interested in short-cuts. I'd rather earn my medals.

Walker: LOL, for real?! Bitches love bling, don't care where it comes from!

Sir Harold: Sorry, Kyle, I can't agree with you on that. Anyway, I don't do it for the ladies, I do it for me.

Walker: LOL! Hazza, you a rare breed, fam! Not gonna lie, glad you keeping that sack of gold away from my clunge.

King of Kanes: ...err... I don't... um....

Walker: Realsies! I am knee deep in that shizz! Ask Grealish and Dele!

Harry: ...yeah... err... So, how is life up North... in general, I mean?

Sky Sports: HARRY KANE ASKING FELLOW WANT-AWAYS ABOUT LIFE IN MANCHESTER!!!

I know that "adamant" just means a higher fee, but Man City is the ONLY place in England I'd sell him.

Will Kane make them better? Yes. But if they don't get him, they'll get Haaland or some other high-priced striker. If they keep winning the league, it is what it is at this point. It's what football has become. If you can get 130m for him, then maybe you do it.

Selling him to any other team in England is a disaster, and will absolutely give that team an advantage against us that they wouldn't otherwise have.

He could become a bad presence in the dressing room, and we don't know if he already isn't one. It's doesn't seem a very together team and maybe he's one of the bad influences. The only time he's looked really fired up recently was in the Carabao Cup final. He didn't really look bothered against Leeds in particular, despite what was at stake for the club.
Cannot agree with that, I might be wrong but that seems totally out of character

It's all bluffing..
He'll say £170m
Buyer will say no.
Few weeks later buyer will say they're unwilling to go over £100m
Levy will say bye.
Gradually a buyer will offer more.
Levy then has to decide if he says say £110m now or £80m next year or £20m the year after.
You know he will take £110m
Hopefully he does the same we did in the Bale window and spends money upfront adding to the squad, rather than squabble about Kane all summer then get nothing in.

People thought back then all those signings would convince Bale to stay.
I expect a similar load of shenanigans this summer.
It's be awesome to get in the 3 or 4 targets he wants and then cannot be held to ransom by other clubs for those players as they know we have the money

Shush with the speculation. There's a good chap. No one really knows so why spread nonsense about him being or becoming a bad presence in the changing room.
Also, the whole team didn't turn up against Leeds so....

You've had your day, now let the grown ups (who can see beyond clickbait and their own agendas) talk and discuss.

He won't go to City. Doubt Guardiola will need one-dimensional traditional lump striker which Harry boy is. City will probably sign Grealish who is much better talent. United will offer 80 +Martial and Harry boy will go there.

It really is so bizarre. Kane is fantastic but in those biggest games he really has not been the man we needed.

As a player who will score you goals against somewhat lesser teams then he is hard to better but I feel in other games maybe he is not as potent.

That is not to say in a better team it woukd not be easier for him because there is less focus on him.

Either way and people need to absolutely see this. Kane leaving us has huge symbolic meaning at this particular stage.

He would represent the last of that glorious quintet, if we assume Son is not a leader and is possibly in decline.

Levy is going to be tested again but for me and for now it really is sorry but you are going to have to honour your contract unless we get an offer we really cannot refuse. And that should mean a near world record bid.
Big games rely on big team performances and despite your user name, our squad is sub par and is suffering from lack of investment. He also has turned up in many many games and won us points and saved our skins but negative you has to focus on the times he hasn't.....sigh

He looked interested when we had the ball. When we didn't have the ball, he didn't give a fiddler's. That was the day the music died for me. It rocked me on my heels. Any vestige of denial about it being the right decision to start him in the CL Final dispensed with forever. I never want to experience anything like it again.

For me, Bale and Kane are in the same ballpark when it comes to defensive stuff. Bale's shuffling is more costly, because he plays on the wing, however.

Well you've as good as said it yourself without really saying it.

In bigger games, a lot of the time, we play against teams with better players and that have more of the ball. So, by logic, us having less of the ball means less chances for the likes of Kane. Inevitably he gets frustrated and starts to get deeper and deeper with his position, and then it's no wonder he's no real goal threat.

Put him in Bayern's side instead of Lewandowski and he will score every bit as many, and would score in finals. Same goes with Man City, PSG etc.
