Super subs minutes per goal is almost always less than a starters. Its not some great concept that anyone should struggle with.Ok so the less minutes you play, the more you should score. Ok got it.
Ok so comparing them when deployed as super subs Vardy looks better?
Kane = 2 open play goals in 9 apps as an impact sub
Vardy = 4 open play goals in 13 apps as an impact sub
Why is Kane's minutes per goal lower when used as a super sub for England.

I already explained to you why .. Vardy is rapid and therefore better than Kane is against tired defenders. Kane also won't actually have seen much use as an impact sub, I suspect most of those substitutions are him coming in to replace injured players in games he was rested for. He's almost always been England's #1 striker, whereas Vardy was a legitimate bench player for England and actually used as an 'impact sub'.
Thats almost the same as each other. 2 in 9 is like 3 in 13ish . Just 1 goal away from vardy's 4 in 13. Its a very very tiny amount of data and a 1 goal difference. Not much to see here.
You do remember Javier Hernandes and Ole . They would score at a rate higher than vannistelroy
And... you could say the same thing about their open play goals per minute for England.
If you think the probability of scoring a goal in a full 90 minutes vs 20-30 minutes as an impact sub is equal, I'm really not sure what to say.

Kane = 1 goal every 173 minute played
Vardy = 1 goal every 189 minute played
So you use the 'small sample size argument' when it doesn't favor Kane but when the stats look more or less in favor for Vardy, you argue that a dozen starts for England is enough to make a sound judgment as to Vardy's ability as a national team player? That's quite ironic.

It was a fluke because his average assists over the last 5 seasons is between 2 and 4
But yeah, take the anomaly as the norm
He had a small patch with Son last season and apparently that's now a large enough sample size and now applied as the norm for Kane.
He had 11 assists during our first 11 PL games last season.
Since then, he's had 3 assists in our last 34 PL games.
Are you sure? Because I've read quite a few times on this board, and in no way does it frustrate the living hell out of me and make me consider self-harming, that we should play Harry at the 10. Previously, I was adamantly opposed to even the suggestion but given the frequency with which it whack-a-moles itself up on this board I was starting to come around to it. I figured if you can't stamp it out might as well succumb to its inane clutches. But if you are suggesting that it's best that we make him stay up top and not venture anywhere else that might require close control or the ability to turn with the ball then I find myself back to my initial position.
Wasn't a fluke at all. He started to drop a lot deeper than in previous seasons and we benefited from his often world-class passing. Son certainly did.

Never once said it was "the norm". You don't half make some stuff up to suit your argument.
I simply said he's capable of doing it again, if he plays the same role as he did last season, and if he finds some of the form he had at times last season. As a striker his passing is arguably the best in the world.
