Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

1. We don’t know that’s what happened
2. He’s getting paid mega money. Minimum I expect is 100% effort and is he fuck giving that.
3. Fuck Kane at the moment.
4. No excuses for his useless form.
5. Ain’t nobody changing my mind
Out of principle and honor you might expect that. Out of principle Kane might have expected levy to honour the gentlemans agreement. Everyone went back on their words, and we are now left with a medicore striker.

If there was a ‘gentleman’s agreement’. No proof there was and there’s no such thing when it comes to contracts anyway. It’s a nonsense.

Stop making excuses for him. It’s nearly fucking November, and he’s had plenty of time to stop sulking like a schoolboy bitch. End of story.

The problem is, we're fans looking at the matter through a supporter's eyes. Kane is a player.

To us, the footballing zenith is playing for Spurs, to a player it's winning things.

We can bitch and moan about how Kane should react, what he should do etc. the simple fact is this. Kane has for so long been Spurs plan A, B and C and when he decided he wanted to leave, he had Spurs by the balls. Fair play to Levy for not bowing down, but Kane knows that an ineffectual Harry Kane creates a problem for Spurs and Levy. Levy fucked up the situation, he thought that things would stay as they are and that Kane would knuckle down and then accept a big pay increase. It simply doesn't work like that.

We have a problem now in that it's clear Kane isn't putting in the effort, individual records now seem to mean little to him and he just wants to win things (as he stated all along). Now Levy has to make the decision, no matter how unpopular that benefits Spurs the most.

I stand by my post. Fuck Kane (Fuck Levy too, obviously).

Good day to you

I stand by what I said pre-season

Sell him. It's just that he's now a declining commodity.
I suspect that this is the footballing equivalent of a work to rule
Sadly - if he had a job description it would probably say "Score goals"

But in reality he needs what failing workers in the real world get - a warning about their performance level, a managers interview and an outline on what is expected of them until their performance improves.

As much as I love what he's done for us in the past - he has gone emotionally and mentally, and all we are doing is watching his sell on value plummet

If Levy has half a brain he will be putting the arabian clubs on speed dial

Im pretty sure there was an agreement. Considering there was one with modric as well and even he said levy went back on his word.

I hate him now, I can't help it, it's not a choice, I just can't stand the sight of his face anymore, but even I feel sorry for him having to turn up to work every day and be told what to do by that fucking useless bearded cabbage.

If that was your boss do you think you'd be delivering your all time best work? Do you think you'd have any pride or joy in your job?

Maybe you're a better employee than I am but I know I wouldn't.

Might as well have flogged him for whatever we could get in the summer if we weren't going to bother showing some ambition and making an effort to get Kane to want to stay. It's almost like Levy is trolling him by forcing him to stay put and then inflicting this cunt on him...

:nunoshock:

Well, not with that attitude we won't! But I'm gonna try anyway because I like a challenge.

BTW were you happy/celebrating that we kept him this summer? Because there is a bit of conventional wisdom that's pretty pervasive in football about NOT keeping a player that wants to leave. Plenty of folks brought it up this summer and were shit on and told the club/Levy has Kane by the balls because of the super awesome contract.

Welp, this is how labor gets the other side to become more fucking reasonable, strikes, slowdowns, etc. We are getting what we deserve because many (possibly including you -I'd bet my left nut you were - and Levy) flicked the Vs to the conventional wisdom and thought Kane had no leverage. Seems Kane has pretty good leverage though, doesn't it? Just like all other labor...the amount he's getting paid is immaterial.

Nope. You failed.

Nice try though :)

Not true. Verbal agreements are just as binding as those that are written. The problem isn't the validity of the agreement. The problem is getting dishonest cunts to fess up to what they agreed to and that's why you write it down. So, not a nonsense.
