There is no other option because we have nobody else to play instead.
Bergwijn and Moura can't score. They offer nothing in attack. No goals. no passing, no creativity. Scarlett is outclassed in the ECL no chance he is ready to play in the PL.
Son is not looking great right now so putting even more of the pressure to score everything on his own with zero support in attack or creation isn't going to help.
The fact we have zero option to replace Kane is horrible squad management. Even if we had a Daka who is 3rd choice at Leicester, but somehow wouldn't come here to be a starter, who be a great option that would allow us to sit Kane, but with the current team we have sitting Kane is just admitting defeat before the game starts.
Needs to go the way of the other sulkers - the Adebayors and the Kabouls and the Roses and Auriers…

It's also not easy for the rest of the team, playing with a 'target man' that offers nothing and moves around like a slug.

Letting go of Vinicius and Bale and not getting any goal-scorers in is costing us big now.
I honestly didn't think Kane would go this way, I assumed he'd be selfish enough to wanna score goals no matter what. Granted, Nuno-ball doesn't help any attacker and Sonny is also finding it hard going with this shit coach.
But right now, we don't have leverage over Kane, because his replacements are so fucking bad. Bergwijn etc. just aren't going to score, the team is still in a losing position by dropping Kane for these type of players. We know it and he knows it.
If we had bought Danny Ings in the summer, then it'd be a different story.

Not that they create something for him. There's no help anywhere near final 3rd, midfield lacks creativity, and Kane doesn't do much to help with it. Son is as lost as Kane, but can rely on speed and ability to win 1v1 so he pops up with something from time to time.
England barely created throughout the Euros. Rice and Phillips were great but the likes of Foden and Mount, the creative ones, offered next to nothing for different reasons. When we did start to play a bit better, Harry started scoring.
He had his head up for a cross towards the end and there were only two other options, we were 2-0 down. The ball was awful, but so were the options. The whole attacking system is fucking awful. Is it hard to play with Kane right now? Yeah of course it is, he can't be fucking arsed, but NOBODY is thriving.
Son today had two opportunities to do something and fluffed it, and did fuck all vs West Ham. I'm not about to make it ALL about him though, or Kane, or Ben pissing Davies. It's all on Nuno and the way he's coaching this team to play.
Kane needs to be dropped, obviously, he's mentally gone. But if you keep this manager in place they're going to struggle to score regardless. If you STILL can't see that then my fucking god, go get a new glasses prescription.

The big difference between me and you is that it makes me sad when Harry has a bad game but for you and the other WUMs it makes you happy.
Harry is still our top scorer this season.
I’d add to that that it’s also easy to defend against us as there’s not much movement up front: put 4 across the back and chances are you’ll get the ball back soon enough.
