Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

How to value Kane scientifically & precisely :

Age = 30
Number of years left to play at top level guaranteed/assumed= 4 years
Number of league goals guaranteed per season=25
The worth of every league goal=€1m

Value of Kane in Euros= 4*25*1= €100m
Value of Kane in Sterling= £85m approx.

I think Bayern or PSG will get there but we need them to get there very quickly. I desperately don’t want him to leave but if it is to happen, it has to happen soon as possible.

I think we all need to come to terms with the fact he is going now though.
Yep I agree.

We’re all guessing on what’s going on, and things maybe further on than we realise, and similar to the Bale sale, we’re keeping things quiet until our purchases are lined up. 🤷🏻

There are still a few nutters who believe James Maddison only signed as Harry told him he was staying.

And even more who thinks after playing under Ange for half a season he will think I’m signing up for 6 more years of this.

100% sure they haven’t realised shoes come in a left and right foot and point at planes when they see them too.

They should all be locked up for their own good.

It's come to this now...

Much as I want him to stay... it's probably just best to get it over with now...

I’m pretty sure you have defended Levy’s actions in the past - so excuse me if I’m mistaking you for someone else.

This is just the flip side of the Daniel Levy coin.

The last minute deal to save ££s which affects the start of our season.
But Berbatov, Modric, Bale, Eriksen - big players who all ended up being transferred at the end of the window.
All the same MO. Drag it out and get as much money as possible from the buying club. That’s what he does.
It’s just not that helpful to our manager at that point in time.

Reckon you have me mistaken for someone else mate.

The only credit I genuinely give to Levy is that he's overseen the build of a spectacular new stadium . But there were and are a heap of trade offs with that which are the topic for another thread. I believe the stadium build also cost us silverware.

As to football matters, he is a simple idiot. I have always said that football issues should be left to people who actually understand football.

I want him out of our club and I have made no secret of that at any time I have been involved in a conversation about the man.

Been an hour or so since someone from Bayern ran their mouth.

Roll on tomorrow when one of them will be telling us that Harry visited them in a dream tonight and said that £30m was a perfectly fair offer.

No offence but I found this a bit odd.

Where does the valuation per goal come from? Also, there is a non-football element here that should be factored in. If Kane signs for Bayern he will responsible for more merchandise sales next season and probably the one after than any other player in the Bundesliga. This is huge added value for Bayern and their sponsors.

If Sidwell had any plans of becoming a top pundit he won't be doing himself any favours here. This is rare:

Ex-Prem star turned pundit Steve Sidwell makes surprising Harry Kane prediction:
🗣️
“Harry Kane’s future comes up every season, everyone says it’s either now or never. [With Bayern Munich] he’d go there and win a Bundesliga, which they win 99 times out of 100. He’ll get a trophy there, but he’s desperate for the [Premier League] goal record. He’s desperate to beat Alan Shearer and get that.
He’d love to do that at Spurs - deep down he’d love to stay at Spurs. I see no value in going to Germany for a couple of years to win the Bundesliga title, to then come back and try and break the record.
He wants to stay at Spurs, he’s desperate for them to be successful. He tried to force a move to Man City [in 2021] which didn’t materialise. I look at Harry Kane and he’s happy with his personal life, he’s happy with his relationship with his family, and that is the number one priority for him. He wants to win things, but he’ll stay at Spurs.”

You might want to check our league position from 2009/10 for the next decade and compare it against any time in our history.

Don't care mate.

We should have won stuff but Levy fucked us over when we most needed squad improvements. He hung the best manager we have had in a generation completely out to dry.

Any "successes" we have had are in spite of this clown, not because of him. Nobody knew, least of all Levy how good Bale, Kane, Dele, etc were going to be. He/we got lucky there. Take Kane and Bale out of the equation and we're Everton.

Unless Postecoglou is a miracle worker, Levy's legacy will be a nice tourist friendly stadium, jacked up ticket prices, a failed attempt to sell us all out to super league, a virtually empty trophy cabinet, hiring a corrupt DoF and the three failed managers put in place on that grub's watch. And almost certainly implications in an insider trading scandal.

What a guy.

Is anyone else annoyed that Kane is silent? Son, Romero, Dier, etc have come out and addressed transfer rumors over the past two years. Kane is silent.

Imo that makes me not care as much about him. He doesn't care about the club anymore so why should we care about him?
