He put in a masterclass against Leipzig. Not just for his hat-trick but his hold up play and passing were absolutely on point. It's funny that some people bring his age into it and talk like he's not going to be around for long. He will still be scoring tons of goals in 3/4 years time. He's not a Michael Owen or a Fernando Torres who suddenly become half the players they were once they lose their pace as he never had much to behind with. He's also probably fitter than most 20 something year olds with the way he takes care of himself.
I do think he'll be back at some point.
Not in the biggest games. If he delivered at such times, best in the last 20 years.

Lmao, yeah. Some people didn't understand that it was him managing his post-injury stamina by running smart instead of hard. And yet in his first Bayern season, he covered the most ground of any player for them until like MD30. He looks lazy because he's slow but he's really not. All of his energy conservation techniques are carefully worked out with and approved by his managers. Kompany asks him to close down passing lanes rather than players, for example.
Ah well, you never know what you've got 'til it's gone. Even some Bayern fans think he misses Spurs and would like to come back to complete his unfinished business after his contract there. That'd be amazing to see and the small contingent of Kane haters won't make the same mistake twice. I still want to see him settle the score with Haaland. Kane is levels above him as an all-round CF.
Since he left, I've realised how frustrating it must've been watching all those individual plaudits go to players from the favoured, title-winning teams. Why the hell are individual awards just "the best player on the winning team"? The fact that Kane never won a true full POTS award in the PL is madness. Anyway, at Bayern, Kane wins Goal of the Month all the time, even when it's totally undeserved. That must've been what he was watching with irritation the entire time in the PL.

Yep. He was amazing for us. I’ve never understood the hate or people not rating him. I just put it down to jealousy from other fans. But when you see it from actual apparent Spurs fans it is quite amazing. Says more about them and their understanding of the game. He’s one of the best finishers and footballers England has ever produced. That can not be argued.

Those were my thoughts. Kane’s worst season numbers are better than Owen’s best seasons he should show a little respect for his betters.
I understand that Michael Owen's career was cut short due to injury - but he himself said that he wanted to retire earlier as he HATED playing football for, don't quote me on this as it's been a YEARS since I've listened to anything he's said, I think he said for the last 6/7years so that would place him at the end of his Real Madrid stint...that also included playing for England!
Harry Kane isn't just a better footballer, unlike Owen, he's been able to adapt to age & injuries while keeping a consistent level of performances.
I think Owen's history is kind of glazed over with rose tinted glasses 'oooh he was a sensation!' yeah I guess but with Liverpool he wasn't as good as Fowler, for Real Madrid he wasn't as good as R9, for Newcastle he wasn't as good as Shearer & with Man U he wasn't as good as Berbatov or Rooney...
I honestly think he should fukk off & keep to selling shite to the general public during world cup seasons in crappy adverts & being embarrassed by his daughter who oddly facially looks EXACTLY like him but hey I guess that's what paper bags are for eh?
