We need to find a couple of useful English players tout suite.
Avoiding the English tax has just been kicking the can down the road and the bill has come due.

I think the best way to avoid the English tax is look at the Championship. You still pay a bit more on them but way less.
It still boggles my mind that Levy hasn't gone that route outside of Rodon.

It's so frustrating too that we've been linked with Bowen, linked with Benhrama, linked with Eze, linked with Watkins and they're all improving teams we're stuck competing with. And we got Sessegnon.

He outlasted all the midfielders even when we fans were begging him to just go, he doubled down in the summer and refused to leave. Clearly loves the club.
I think it's time to put some respect on Harry Winks' name. He was apart of the 2 man midfield with sissoko that gave us some incredible nights, he's being selected by manager after manager and he held it together between him and sissoko while dembele and wanyama were regularly injured with no reinforcements coming for 2 windows
Conte, one of the best managers in the world has made it clear he prefers Winks in his team than he does Lo Celso, Ndombele and Alli. Jose picked him. Poch picked him (didn't have much choice to be fair)
