Transfers Have we signed Paulo Dybala yet?

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He's Argentinian and Spurs for present and past reasons are a big draw for Argentinians ... Juventus can't get the best out of him alongside Ronaldo he's gone from 22 goals down to just 5 with his passes received per game down 40% (it's hard to play alongside Ronaldo for any striker) whilst we have a dominant striker in Kane he is not in anyway a go-to striker, we could easily play with a front two, personally I reckon Kane in front of Dybala would be epic .... or Dybala in front of Kane

Dybala is now wasted at Juventus Sarri might well want to cash in ... we have players they want ... this is not a myth this is a maybe ... overrated? He's won four Serie A titles and he's only 25 !!!!!!!!!

Dybala had problems with Allegri: when CR7 arrived, the coach set him back. Result: fewer opportunities, few goals and lots of bench. With Sarri he can return to the center of the project. I hope it's not sold.

Do you think that Sarri's system will give Dybala the Space he needs to play in though? With Christiano on the pitch.

Why Juventus' financials make Paulo Dybala to Spurs more likely
Also looks like you might need to sell one or two soon

Sarri has already said that on revenue / expenditure the diligence of Juventus will decide (unlike Conte who has already complained to Inter).

Some players will be sold. We talk about Khedira, Mandzukic and Matuidi. There is "movement" around Cancelo, Kean, Dybala etc. We'll see ...

From a tactical point of view Sarri in Naples has turned into Mertens striker ... Dybala was a bad year but is a potential champion.

Reading an Italian Juventus forum, they think it highly unlikely he'd be sold this year, but, perhaps like Dele, it's not inconceivable he'll be sold a year from now if he has another average season. They seem to think he'll be important in the Sarri system and there's no way he'd leave before seeing how it worked out. Again, a bit like Dele, he hasn't progressed like they hoped he would and this season is very important for him.

I think the story would have more legs if Allegri were still there but, as I said already, I really do think it's a non story.

Which forum is it? Vecchiasignora.com? With Allegri it would have been sold this year. Sarri wants to keep it.

Maybe I'm just wrong on this, but Dybala doesn't excite me very much. There is no doubt that he's a talented player but appears to have stagnated lately. Maybe he needs better management, needs a different experience or a different role in the team, but I don't know what he is going to offer us that Moura cannot right now.

This video did not help my opinion either. When a player's highlight video utilizes about 3 minutes to show him getting fouled (and not due to his creativity, two shots that completely missed the target, one off the post and then a save, I really hope that these are not his best moments...

:llorishuh:

We bought Janssen and GKN because the numbers said they were good players. Eyes are a much better judge than numbers.
These aren't the usual shite Sky numbers though fella (Goals, Assists etc). In fact, the context of the two leagues and two teams and even the positions played by the players should have everything weighted in favour of the man from Turin!!

I like Dybala, I think he's a great player but if you were to listen to our fans talk about Dele they really need to think again. This post was meant for them, not to rubbish Dybala.

Yes, as that seems the biggest one. That was the impression I got as well, that he was going to leave if Allegri stayed but Sarri coming has complicated things. If he was going to leave I guess he may have had discussions already with other clubs and once you get an idea in your head to leave it can be hard to change your thinking unless Sarri showed enthusiasm for him as a player.

Shoooooooooooooot

Undoubtedly with Son and Kane it would be devastating. At Juventus Sarri wants to field him as a forward with CR7 on the left and Bernardeschi / Douglas Costa on the right.

The other thing I got from reading Juve forums is the general consensus is that Bernardeschi is dog shit - wouldn't he just do the same thing all the time? Cut inside and shoot? He seems a bit of a one trick pony. And weren't they going to dump Douglas Costa? It all seems very Sarri, rigid in his thinking. And aren't Juve going to buy Icardi, isn't he a better fit? I'm starting to understand why Dybala might want to get the fuck out of Dodge and go somewhere the coach believes in him and will utilize him in the best way. Maybe this does have some legs after all...
