Just listing the injuries isn't really a solid way of going about analysing these things unless your main theory is that the medical staff and physios are causing the injuries.

I don't know how good the Spurs medical staff are; all I can say is that we do seem to have at least two or three players at any given moment with long term injury concerns. Whether that's bad management, bad luck or an extraneous factor (shit training pitch etc) I couldn't possibly say.

EDIT: also, I'm not sure how many long term crocks other teams have as well. I'm sure there's a degree of "I give a fuck about Spurs so I know the squad; I don't give a fuck if Gourcuff's left tibia is bent unless he starts playing in lily white."

Yet it dispels the myth that our injuries over a season are absurdly and unusually high, and in stark contrast to other clubs.

My god, this thread.

The truth as with most things is probably somewhere in the middle. Our physios and training staff could probably do more in preventative muscle injury work. But also, we were just really unlucky last season and our injuries will likely regress towards the mean this season.

I haven't read the thread but my point remains that if you're looking to blame the doctors and physios, find similar injuries to similar players in other teams and find the playing record over the following six months or so and compare the figures.

He's right though, mate. It's obvious you're just bored and fancy a dust-up. This whole thread is you at your absolute worst. Come back to us, Sammy, there is hope.

A dust up? LOL...are you Uncle Albert?

Not at all, Im discussing a Spurs related topic, and it pisses me off the level of disrespect being shown to the members of our club, who work with the most honourable profession in the world.....by people who have no idea what they actually do.

As someone who works in healthcare let me just say this.

Most of my profession are either really fucking boring or really fucking deviant. You never know which til the scrubs come off.
