He was awful today

But he's one of our best players.. 1 bad game doesn't change much.

Truth is though I'm a bit fed up of the Kane/Son deserve better because of no trophies - in the 2 finals they've played in both have been poor and not showed up. Perhaps had they played better the results would've been different.

Difficult to say with Covid and the impact on markets. Mahrez cost City 60M so i'd guess many clubs would be in for him at 40M. He is a couple of years older than Mahrez was then but i'd still expect quite a few takers at that price.

Levy will probably ask for 80M though and eventually he goes for about 15..

Most likely. 40 would be a sane price and a lot of clubs would go for it. No resale value but one hellu player in his prime. If no new contract and we could push to 50 then we have to take it.
 
Just want to ask the son fanboys if I can criticise his performances yet without being labelled a racist. Or does it have to be a minimum 5 months of shit form instead of 4 ?
 
There is one thing that frustrates me and that’s our inability to sub off our best players when things don’t work out. I mean how many times have Son or Kane won us single handedly matches where they had a stinker for 60-70 mins? 1-2? Son was terrible today and if anyone deserved to be subbed off, it was him.

I feel the “rotation” players can put a proper shift in and still get subbed off because they’re not Son or Kane. I’d be frustrated with shit like this.
 
I think we should try and cash in if we can. He's obviously a world class counter attacking threat and finisher. When he has space in front of him and time to make decisions, he can be lethal, we all know that.

However, when he isn't given time and space, and we are trying to break opposition down, he struggles more often than not.

I don't know, maybe I'm just down on him cause he was SO poor today, but I just think he's got such limitations when we are playing with the ball and he can probably get some serious coin back, that we need to think about selling.

Lucas beat more players today than son has for months. Only one going forward with any drive yet still subbed off. New manager same shit.
 
Son is one of our (few) elite players but he was really poor and has been off-form in general the last couple of months.

However, the tears and previous expressions of emotion after losses is not something to be criticised. It should be lauded. The players should be as devastated today as they were after Zagreb. Any player not feeling that should be got rid.

Funny how he was once dubbed the man city killer. He was pissing his pants so hard he couldn't even make eye contact with kyle walker. He didn't even look in front of him he just backpassed it as far back he could to our goal. Then he has the audacity to cry like he did fuck all.
