Neither were the top two players, or close to it, but even if Lucas was the best today, one game does not change that for 100 games for us he has been shit. He hasn't ever come close to showing he can score at the level that Son does and sure as hell cannot come close to making the passes he does.
100%. He gets in these shooting positions on the edge of the box then just stops and dithers. His passing today was criminal and he should've been subbed off not Moura.

That is what I have noticed. He doesn't quite know what to do at the right moment anymore; almost like he is consciously analysing it in his head on the ball. I am hoping it is just confidence.

I think that’s being too harsh on Lucas. Yes his decision making is questionable, but his dribbling from our half to push forward is so crucial for this club. Something son does not offer. Sure he may not score but son has not been scoring much in 2021. I think both players have the same passing abilities. In fact, Lucas has a higher completion rate the past 3 years.

Ndombele and GLC are both so talented, and I love watching them on the ball, but for a variety of reasons they don't seem to cope with the intensity of domestic English football.

Son has had the kind of season I didn't believe possible.
Not sure what to say about him but hugely disappointing in the last 4 months.

Lucas hasn't come close to ever having the seasons scoring that Son has. He has 17 goals in 100 games for Spurs often playing against weak opposition. That is a poor season for Son. Not a chance he can
His passing is worse than yours or mine.
There is not a chance that he could come close to matching what Son does. Moura should be moved out of the club not given a bigger role. He is not close to good enough.
Players can have up or down days but what a day to flunk today

Son always has and always will be a limited player.
Poor touch, can't pass and cant beat his fullback consistently enough.
What he has is a great strike on either foot and a good work ethic that's about the sum total of it.
Can't recall a worse run of form than this for him though. Could be fading time to cash in.
