Are we really back to the "who is better, Son or Kane" bollox?

They both play for us FFS! Who gives a shit which is the better? As long as both are getting goals, enjoy both of them.
This.

I bet they can't say shit in front of two of them in person. just another keyboard warriors I guess 😅

seriously who gives shit if one is better than the other they are both phenomenal players and I'm just glad they are both in spurs

It's tiresome shit, isn't it?

They're both brilliant and have linked up for more goals and assists than any other duo in PL history.

Real Spurs fans appreciate both players and just hope they both manage to win a trophy or two at our club.

Ditto.... But if you think this of me, you are severely missing the point of the exchange you're reading here.

ONE person in this exchange is bitterly anti-Kane because they don't actually support this club. His above comments should make this more than apparent.

Me? I love the fact that we have 2 generational talents at my club.....

p.s. And you're wrong - I would only too happily say this to this twat's face.

Pretty interesting to see him make a beeline to go hug Ventrone (the terrifyingly tough fitness coach/ "drill sergeant") here in this video after the match. Good to see there's unity even with the most exacting members of staff - although to be fair it's almost impossible to find someone who doesn't love Son.
That was a really long hug, guess that Ventrone was saying positive comments in Sonny's ear

Super happy for sonny.

But I think we should stay level headed. It was a 35 minute performance where we had a lead and got to play on the counter against a team that is conceding boatloads of goals.

This performance did prove that 1) Son’s finishing ability has not left him (I don’t think many doubted this) and 2) He is still deadly in specific situations like on the counter

But there’s a decent chance that he will struggle in build up the next game he starts. Making him undropable no matter how well he performs is not the answer. We need to be willing to use him regularly as a super sub as that is where he excelled in this match.

TBF, 2 out of 3 he scored when outnumbered by defenders..... It's not like he broke their lines with his pace; he created his own space and had their CBs on toast.

His link up won't have got better or worse; it's just subject to form. Any age-based deterioration will impact his pace and energy levels.....

Richy pushing both Son and Kulu at their positions, and stealing the odd game from Kane up top, will be perfect for us this year. It's all working out as planned so far. And obviously Son should get the next start at LF.
There are a total of 114 league starts between LW, CF and RW. Between the 4 of them, it means that they could theoretically start 29 PL games each if evenly distributed. Add another 5-10 starts for each of them between CL and cup games and we'll see plenty of playing time between the 4. Not to mention there may be games where we start all 4 of them...
