He is becoming my favourite player at the moment, after he scored mid week he went to the corner stand and was getting the fans hyped up, got some reaction from where I was sitting any way! Also still love what he done to the West Ham fans after scoring! The guy is fast becoming a legend and if he keeps this up he will be up there with the likes of Ginola!
Also I’m not ashamed to say I was one of those calling him shite a few seasons ago, but then what the fuck do I know! :pochfacepalm:
I have learnt my lesson though and trust in Poch and his staff as he obviously know a little bit more then I do:pochserious2:

I see him as the sort of player that could be around for years. Clearly happy with his level of participation, gives it everything when he comes on and doesn't appear to get the hump if he's on the bench. He needs to be cloned

Son's dejection after the final whistle reminds me of Ricky Villa after being subbed off against Man City in the first tie... And we all know what happened after that. When I think of Villa I see the image of him walking around Wembley disappointed and then I see him tearing through the City defense. I hope we get to see a similar reaction from Sonny one day.

I don't know why but I have always felt that if we got to a cup final, Sonny would be the type of guy to get the winner, he just seems the type. If we reach the FA Cup final, he must play.

I hope I can come back and quote this in May.

He's first name on the team sheet for me right now

From a translated piece by Football Italia - Signore Barzagli has admitted how much SHM troubled him:

********************************

Andrea Barzagli confirms he will stop playing when he no longer “feels good” and admits “I suffered a lot” against Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-min Son.

Barzagli has been at the heart of Juventus’ successes over the past seven years, although questions about his longevity at the top flight were asked after he struggled to contain Son at right-back during Wednesday’s trip to Spurs in the Champions League.

“Talk about my age? I won’t deny that sometimes it weighs on me,” he told Tuttosport.

“However, the important thing is to feel good mentally and physically. As long as I train well, take preventative measures and keep up with others, I can still play.

“When those things start to drop, they’ll be noticed and that’s when the time will come for me to stop.

“I can’t play 60 games a season anymore because my physical condition doesn’t allow it, but when I need to give an answer, I’m there and I think I’ve shown it.

“Did I suffer as a full-back against Tottenham? I’m always available, God forbid. After that, when you meet certain players, you try to stifle them as much as you can.

“I suffered a lot, a bit less in the middle, but lots of players would suffer against Son. He plays at 200 mph, but I could’ve done much better.”

Has just about established himself as my favourite player at the club, love his enthusiasm and the joy he takes from the game, always plays with a smile and has a heart of gold. Not only that he is our most effective finisher after Kane and our best speedy dribbler. Long may it continue Sonny!

What a player he’s become. Absolutely top class, and is now showing it consistently too.

I have no worries for our top four hopes if Kane is sidelined for any length of time.
