I saw this, as well, although it was somewhat debunked; albeit, the story was deemed moot on a blog.

He must be as confused as most people as to what we were up to in the second half of the season, and as you say we are drifting further away.
All this at a time the PL's top teams are at their weakest in a long time.
Chelsea, Utd, arse, City and Pool were all there to be challenged this year but yet again we have failed to capitalise points against the lower teams, taken a couple spankings off our rivals and only turned up for a couple of the big derby's.
If he behaves in the right manner about his move, and is honest, he gets my full blessing.
Im not one to put Spurs down, but he is genuinely wasted here...we have not tried to build a defence around Hugos strengths, merely left him at the back in the shadows pulling off world class saves while we juggle around our average defenders and try to bottle neck them into a system that they cant play.
Hope we learn from this with Vorm, and coach our CBs to work around what the keeper needs from them, and their abilities not just what the manager wants them to do,regardless of whether they can actually do it.

Hugo will be sold this summer. Deep down I think we all knew this when Vorm was signed. And for those that still weren't convinced, the final confirmation came when the club announced Hugo had signed a new 5 year deal

Saw that. There wasn't even a single source in the Guardian article though so I'm calling BS until I see a quote from Lloris saying "I want to leave".
I suppose with a 5 year deal the min we will be looking for is 25-30 million, Vorm ain't a bad keeper so we are lucky that while obviously it's a downgrade it's not some huge step down for us. WIth all the sales the summer 8-10 who knows we hopefully we invest more wisely than recent seasons and not have to rely so much on World class keeping to keep us in games.
