Ex-Spurs Player Hugo Lloris

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He's only going to win cl with a maybe 3 clubs outside the EPL. He was playing CL each year with Lyon before he came here wasn't he? So why leave a club that you'd had CL with to come to a club that hadn't and then leave that club because you dream of CL? Money or the opportunity to taste different culture and a better league? He didn't do it as he lived Spurs, he did it as a career move. The EPL has greater exposure.
Barca don't need him, nor do Bayern. If Real cannot get De Gea then he may go there. I can see him going to Man U if real get De Gea. Those are the only 2 clubs. PSG may not even win the French league his old club may pip them to it. Unless he really wants to go back to France then PSG will be the only club that could afford him there.
If he goes it will be to Man U or Real but I wouldn't be that surprised if he ended up at Woolwich. Fellow French internationals and manager, in London, can afford him. They want rid of sneezy, need a top keeper and Ospina would be no2 It's common knowledge they have been tapping him up.

But do you really think that Spurs would sell him to Woolwich, even for 50m?

Spurs fans would have wanted Levy's head on a spike. Agree with a lot of what you said, but that part is pure fantasy, would never happen!

Bale and Lloris at Utd next season....

Levy will NEVER EVER sell him to Woolwich. Not even by a fortune. No fucking chance

I feel sorry for whoever does replace Hugo, the bar has been set so high that when it comes to getting a new keeper, whenever that is, it might take a while for the fans to warm to him. Vorm has been fine since playing, in fact we hardly look any different (other than less questionable sweeper keeping). I'd personally be happy with Vorm as our number one if Lloris leaves. There are much more important positions we could strengthen with the money we'd get for Lloris.

If we got something like 35mil+ for him I'd rather we just go with Vorm and spend that money shoring up the defensive spine instead of on another keeper. We might even be better off in the end (of course we would at least need to secure a backup).

Yup, I feel Vorm is quite a good gk, obviously not as good as Lloris but can be our number 1. Replacing Lloris shouldn't be our priority as the other areas are alot weaker. The striker, the goal scoring midfielders and the backups, all these positions should be our priority.
