I do still believe we can stay up - the fixtures after Liverpool are reasonable and if we beat Forest at home the jobs halfway done. It’s not some impossible task. I obviously don’t think the squad is as good as you do, but I don’t think it’s any worse than West Ham’s at all, we’ve just got a totally crushed spirit at the absolute worst time combined with a sort of sense that the penny hasn’t dropped like it has for forest or West Ham.

Why would it be halfway done they are one point behind’s. If the my win tnrw they will be two ahead. Even if we beat pool we would still only be one ahead. If we lose the two behind making game v forest even more must win.

You could also argue that by being the team that broke the trophy draught we were in a prime position to kick on , we were told anyone would get us back to the top now it’s “Ange is to blame”

Good point why are manure doing so much better. Even when amarin was sacked they weren’t in a relegation dog fight. Yes they invested in some good players. But so did we and we were supposed to be getting this super coach. May Ange influence on this season I think us not from how bad we were in league but more how the players have reacted to him being sacked. I think there was a connection with him. With Frank and Tudor the players have no belief in them and that they are far worse coaches than Ange.

LWB? What happened the the kid from Scotland who couldn’t get into his club side. All the while MM is foi g great at rangers and is younger. I have said it so many times why did we bin off all our academy players. Look at goons going for title they play a fucking 16 yr old. In a big match and he scores. They arnt scared they are brave giving their kids a chance. No one can tell me players like Moore, Devine, lankshear etc are no worse than some of the expensive youngsters we have purchased. All we hear from many fans is they need some loans to champo or below, they need to get bigger etc. is that Max kid a grown man. Ffs!
 
This is all about psychology now.

He got a result away at Anfield with bare bones.

That will invest the players in him and earn some trust.

It gives us a foothold to build confidence and find some consistency.

Got to go with it now and take the chance off of this result.
