Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We needed to get someone in quickly before next week's NLD.
His main/only job is to make sure that we don't get relegated.
Problem is, if he fails it isn't really his fault, is it? He inherited a bad position and a bad situation with loads of injuries and low morale. The club were foolish to leave it so late when the position was already clear months ago. I’m so pissed about this whole situation.

Lets be honest if Forest had announced Tudor yesterday or West Ham if they'd sacked Nuno a few weeks back we'd hardly be shitting ourselves. I just think the same coaching staff, a transient figurehead and 11 fit players is not going to end well. We needed a lift, get the fans back onside and dont think we've done that.

We won’t unless Poch, Luis Enrique or Alonso come through the door.

ID preferred a coach that just lets them get out and play football instead of another tactical coach that specializes in horror ball. But touch wood he does enough.
Hes not renowned for playing shite football though. Certainly not Frank-ball level bollocks.

Think hes an automations guy. Usually that style is decent to watch at first before the opposition teams figure you out and the players get bored.

Yeah. Vinnaaaaaaiiii (that horrible TF pronounciation) and Lange have royally fucked up leaving it at least 4 weeks too late. I think they will be sacked for it, but probably not until the summer.

Thank god ENIC pulled the plug on cucky Tom

Can't wait for this 6ft4 fuckin beast squaring up to legoman!

tom hardy bane GIF
Striding over to him and yanking him back into his box with one tug so firmly and effortlessly that Legohead tumbles in and comes to rest in the center of it.

DO IT Igor!

Have no confidence in this being a good decision , .My negativity is not based on him , I have zero knowledge of his ability.
I have plenty of knowledge of ENiC over 25 years and even their successes were by chance

Jol by accident after Santini walked calling the club out for lying to him .

Redknapp was a save us from relegation hire , that worked out very well admittedly.

Poch was not meant to get the job Levy had agreed a deal with Van Gaal who flaked on him for Utd.

The rest have been average to disastrous or destined to end in tears ( see Conte)

History tells us they will have got this badly wrong imho

Those were all picked by Levy and he's left the building.

Me too... I'm warming to this fella... I think Conte has had a big influence on him but I liked the bits in this article about
- he wants his team to dictate the tempo and he wants it to be fast
- very fluid 3-4-2-1 or 3-5-2
- man orientated high energy press to force opposition to funnel ball wide where you can create quick turnovers and instant overloads
- bit fiesty
- good attacking stats with Marseille only bettered by PSG but not in all catagories

It's a good read and like I said... I'm gonna get behind him and who knows...
The bolded bit is what I want to hear, hope it's true. No more ceding the tempo and play style to the opposition every match. My other hope is that he is an effective communicator. That's critical with the current state of this squad. They need an Ange-like motivator to get the best out of them.

It's time to get behind him. People would have moaned no matter what.

There were people in the fanbase advocating for Sherwood, Redknapp or Keane but now turning their nose up at Tudor. I mean, it's ridiculous.

One thing all this does show, is that Lange has been totally sidelined. As Paratici was recommending Frank was sacked and we install Tudor in as an interim before Xmas. Lange won that tug of war, Vinai listened, they doubled down on Frank, Paratici subsequently walked, and now look at what has happened.

I'd bet my house on Lange being sacked by June, we will have a new DOF in place, one that Poch approves of also no doubt.

And I also think Vinai's days are numbered. The board will view this flirt with relegation if we actually survive, as gross negligence on the CEOs part.

The job was way more appealing, even for an interim, when:
  • The gap between us and 18th was way bigger
  • There were more games to play and get points from
  • The injury list wasn't as long as this
Sticking with Frank this long reduced the said appeal drastically.

It is what it is.

Just finished work and found this out, is there a shred of hope in this appointment, or more like a case of he's cheap?

Scratching my head at this one, I guess that gooner cunt will be picking up his bonus in a few weeks for mission accomplished.
