Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I was in the replace him if we lose against Palace boat but honestly, after the results tonight if the players can motivate themselves to beat this Crystal Palace side at home and put in a proper performance and a proper bit of effort for the first time in 2 years, a new coach isn't going to change anything.

It's incompetence. That's all it is. Most, not all, I just can't see doing a worse job than Lange. Vinai promising to challenge for leagues, Levy (less said the better).

We've been sleep walking down this road for a very, very long time. There is one party to blame for this while mess, and they don't care. I actually had someone telling me that Vinao's match day program notes were reason to be optimistic and how it wasn't the shite we've been getting spoofed for the last decade or so.

I'm apathetic to it all now. I seen this happening in fucking October, how can people being paid millions a year not? Fuckng grifters.
Yup. We need a compete purge. Lange has proven over multiple windows to be a complete incompetent - a glorified youth scout with absolutely no understanding of squad-building at all. Capable of identifying talent but no capacity whatsoever to sign the players a squad needs to be functional. His (and Vinai's) complacency in Jan over Frank, the mis profiling of Gallagher and complete lack of urgency could literally cost the club half a billion quid.

Heads need to roll and ENIC desperately need to hire some proven football people ASAP.

They need to sell up. It's the only thing that'll generate meaningful change. They literally know nothing about how to run a football club. It's not very often I'll give Levy flowers, and even this isn't really praise by any means, but Frank would've ben gone before January and we'd have got some deals done in January. Now, for the quality of those deals, Lange was his guy, so probably not great, but we'd probably have had more of a fighting chance. He also hired that incompetent Vinai idiot too, so in the end, all roads lead to that shiny dome.

Even if we get out of this, ENIC, or Tavistock for those who want to be pedantic, will have us back in the same position again. Might not be next year, but it'll happen. Nothing will ever change.

Yeah I agree - we're at the point now where it's becoming untenable with these jokers. Sadly I don't think they will sell until we're, at the very least, a stable PL side, though. Well, unless some investment group or oil-state comes in and meets their asking price which is doubtful if we're complete shit and/or in the Championship.

Yeah, no end in sight for me. They're here long term.

If they sell up, I'd strongly consider flying back that direction for the party.

And yet keeps playing them.
We have so few fit senior players it’s a disgrace. We aren’t an English L1 team with financial difficulties. Injuries or not, after the January transfer window a PL team should not have 3 senior full/wing backs for a whole season, even if we aren’t in Europe. Fucking ridiculous. I’ve moaned about this relentlessly since the summer. KWP on a free to be fourth choice and club home grown for example.

Likewise, we know our creative 10 in Maddison and Kulu who can play there or wide. No, let’s do nothing and get no one in. Our wide forward players have been poor. Again, let’s do nothing and bring no one in. Our “star striker” has been injured most of the season and we’re struggling. Again, let’s do nothing.

We’re obviously in a real relegation scrap with the results tonight. What I don’t understand, if we were like Everton in midtable the hierarchy in the January window has no appetite to try and compete in Europe. Through to the last 16, why is there no support for the manager/team? Down to the bare bones basically, why not make a few purchases?

This piece is hugely telling
"It's impossible to compare. Impossible. Because the problems are totally different.
"When you go in at Juventus, you have 20 players. Here you come and have 12 players. There you fight for Champions League, here you fight for relegation.
"So that's the start. Then you go player by player, there are big differences everywhere."

That is such a damning line. He is rightly saying our players are nowhere near the level of even Juve who are 6th in Serie A.

It’s hard to tell what he really meant by that tbh

When you watch the full PC above, he was really just saying things are different so you can’t compare.

If we objectively compare our team with Juve's, I don't believe we're worse off. This is a confidence issue. There's no confidence in the team and I don't believe Tudor's going to build that.

Actually, I think Tudor is a bellend. I liked Thomas - probably because I'm a Dane - with his method of building confidence and camaraderie. Tudor's statements, publically trashing the players and the club, don't sit right with me. Also, it must be really confusing for the players to go from an empathetic manager to a no-nonsense manager.

This is what's concerning me. Since he's come in he's been very gloomy.

I know the squad is in a shit state, but we need a manager who is going to motivate them, not belittle them and tell them how shit they are. This job is a free hit for him, he has no connection and knows he won't be here come June.

Watch the actual press conference. He wasn’t gloomy mate.

All kinds of spin going on right now because Spurs being in the shit generates clicks

Ok fair enough. I didn't watch the full thing so yea possibly not what I was reading into it so.

I will admit that's my default these days with this bunch of pricks that represent our club so badly both on the pitch and the higher ups. There genuinely isn't one of them that I wouldn't mind seeing fuck off out of our club.
But hey that could be just the nerves for match later on

Respectfully, this situation has gone past what a typical nice Danish man could re-solve!

If we lose tonight I actually favour rolling the dice one last time and bringing in big Sean Dyche
