Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Very sad news to hear about his father passing away. Particularly tragic that he found out this news either during our game yesterday or straight after. I can't imagine the pain of that.

There's more to life than football. The possibility that he may have received this news at half time yesterday but still showed up for the second half is incredible. None of us know what went on. Whether Tudor stays or goes I'm not sure. But he doesn't deserve to have his name or reputation tarnished during this time.

Let's keep this thread respectful for the next few days if possible 🙏

We need a manager with a different personality. These players need to smile. They hate being out on the pitch.
In the nicest possible way, fuck off with this bullshit please.

I think I'd vomit if I see this bunch of dickheads trotting about with a smile on their faces this season!

Now's the time for them to dig in and show some grit and determination, last thing they deserve is an arm around the shoulder and a pep talk blowing smoke up their collective ass.

Players need to enjoy being on the pitch or they will not perform. I’m not saying to coddle them but they need a clear idea of football, to play in positions that suit them, to be given belief. Tudor has made a mess of things with players out of position being asked to do things they cannot do. It’s all far too complicated. We need to go back to basics.

I agree on this, I just also think if any of this lot have the nerve to smile on the football pitch before the end of May then they deserve a 2 week fine and a clip around the ear...

I disagree and think that a Fatherly arm around their shoulders from someone like Arry assisted by someone like Timmy or Mason is exactly what they need!

Devastating news about his dad. My best wishes go to him and the rest of his family.

If the board decide not to sack him (personally I wouldn't unless we secure a long term appointment), these players better start putting in some effort for the bloke.

He doesn't have to stay given this news. He could easily decide to stay with him family at this tough time. If he puts that aside to try to save us then I want these players to be embarrassed for what they're putting him and us through.

Have some pride you bunch of selfish bastards and earn your money!

That's fair but I also think we can separate commiserations with analysis. Certainly no need for some of the vitriol but every justification in seeking to understand, and to criticise the decisions.

Can't change what's happened but we need to have faith in the guy's thinking. Hard after what we saw in the 2nd half, an I think a reasonable part of our survival will be how much the fans (especislly those who go to the matches) are able to demonstrate.

It might well be, I just can't bring myself to wish that for them.

Fuck it, I'll take relegation, I just want someone like Conte, or a Roy Keane, to come in and beat the shit out of them.

I get what you’re saying and some of the fuckers deserve it but we’re at the desperation stage now!

Players have to enjoy their work, it’s no different to any other job. A team with no confidence in themselves or their manager is not going to win any games. We have to get to a point where they look forward to the games and are excited to play in front of us.

Best we can do is a "We Go Again!" post on Twitter...

I can see what you're saying, but...

Allowing this bunch of morons to enjoy themselves too much is, for me, one of the major contributors to why we are where we are. I find a lot (most) of Tudors selection and tactical decisions to be bizarre, and so I don't think he's the man to save us. I don't think his approach in terms of attitude is a problem though.

Bear in mind also that they were afforded that last season under their Daddy Ange and they were shit then too.

And finally, not that it's really relevant to the situation at Tottenham Hotspur, but think about your own employment. If you had cocked up so catastrophically in whatever it is that you do, would you dare for one moment to expect the management to coddle you and try and gee you up to carry on the project with a smile on your face? I know the situations are likely not remotely comparable, but the thought of it just pisses me off so much.

I almost don't even care if it would be successful, I just can't stomach the thought.

The jokes are gonna write themselves here. And Adolf is his real first name. Yes, seriously.

On 16 May 2018, Hütter was confirmed to be Eintracht Frankfurt's new head coach for the 2018–19 season, succeeding Niko Kovač.He signed a three-year contract until June 2021. His first competitive match was the 2018 German Super Cup on 12 August 2018, which was lost 0–5 to Bayern Munich. On 18 August 2018, Eintracht Frankfurt were knocked out in the first round of the German Cup by fourth division team SSV Ulm. The start to the league season was also poor, with just four points in five matchdays, but Hütter was able to turn the negative trend around, as Eintracht did not lose in the next eleven games, winning ten, in the Bundesliga and Europa League

Not the kind of start we need
