I don't know it cunt is the word I would use but if you saw the Being Liverpool doc Brenton comes off as an absolute tool and moron in that. And I get the same impression from most of his interviews as well.

I would hate having him as our manager.

Not quite as bad as Jose because at least the football would be better before we melted at the end of the year, but it would be pretty disappointing to go from Jose only to be replaced by crap like Brenton.
Do you think he has learned from his mistakes and adapted? I do

Jose on the other hand? Has he evolved? How’s that’s going

I don't really think so.

Last the way he set up his Leicester side at the end of the year when they needed a few draws to get top 4 with big injury trouble at the back was horrible.

He basically lost the game against us on his own trying to play a highline with a back 3 of Morgan-Evans-Bennett. It was ridiculous and there was no reason to do it at all. We ran past them like they were wearing the cement shoes that they play in.

I was thinking more in terms of his managerial style rather than playing style / tactical decisions

The former has improved, he’s more relaxed and likeable

I haven't seen it, but there also isn't a Leicester doc about him so maybe he has.

For me the biggest issue in the doc was that he came off so incredibly dumb but thought he was smarter than everyone.

Gerrard for me

big name, players will want to play for him. Unproven and a bit of a risk but worth a go

That would be a tough one to want to follow Spurs if we bring that cunt in.

I guess if I could make it through Jose who is fine as a person just plays awful football having someone who is scum of the earth but might play decent football could be passible, but ugh it would be horrible having to watch that prick manage us.

We should get a great coach and manager. Not a big name just because. Not an Allegri. We need the new Klopp. The new thing. But any manager that isn’t properly backed will fail. Unless we get an world class crop from the academy.
I’m really into Potter. Rodgers is very good but a twat and seems a bottler, which would fit us but we should try to stop that. Anyway Jose will do the full season.

Definitely not him.

Plays very defensive football and when he tried to switch to a more attacking 4-2-3-1 Wolves kept losing.
Can only play well in the 5-3-2 when they just counter-attack.

Mourinho 2.0
Big no then for me. Jol rekindled my love of Spurs with exciting football and on the whole it's been better times since.

Really want a trophy but can't handle much morescrolling through my phone slumped in my chair as the game is so fucking dull.

If we are being honest you could say the same about us. Top 4 then what? You won't get the funds required to win major trophies. Top 4 is really the height of our ambition.
Not really, I don't think. Covid may have dented it somewhat but our spending is trending in the right direction imo. Good money spent on Ndombele, Sessegnon, GLC, Bergwijn recently. Stadium once it's up and running will have us spending well enough to win, just about picking the right targets and having a good manager. Recruitment worries me more than willingness to spend over the next 5 years.

I hope you are right but plenty wouldn't. I can't see it myself. Especially with levy saying we need to stop this obsession with spending & that it doesn't equal success. He also indicated the players we had when jose took over were already good enough to win stuff & achieve success. So it seems like he feels the opposite.
This summer will be a good indicator. Whether we spend a lot or not. But I guess it all depends on who's in charge etc. I think stuff off the pitch will be the most interesting thing about us for quite a while!

Gerrard? I disliked most of that golden generation but didn’t mind him
