Well he'll get Dier, Sanchez, Rodon and Toby so I don't see what the problem is.
Excited Tim And Eric Awesome Show Great Job GIF
True. What I don’t know is whether allegri is an improver of players. As mentioned he had the best to choose from in his league. He spunked 70mill on a centre forward.

I personally think keeping the ball and doing nothing with it is fucking awful.
We did it with AVB and for too many games, we did it with Poch.

If it had an outcome then it's great. If we're just passing it around the middle and outside the box, we may as well not bother.
I agree in large.

I like possession and there is logic in he who controls the ball control the game. But possession for the sake of possession gets old real fast. You need to be able to shift between possession and fast breaks up field with fluidity. Something that Allegri showed that he could get his teams to do.

One thing I hoped with Mourinho was that he would instill full blown cuntery into out play. We started to see it a bit.
It's not that I'm a fan of cuntery, but cuntery exists and if you can't beat them, outcunt them.
Seems to have stopped as quick as it started though.

I think back to when Juve knocked us out of the CL. Other than an 8 minute spell at the start of the first leg and a 6 minute spell in the 2nd half of the 2nd leg, we totally out played them. But they won. And in that 2nd half, a huge part of that was how they used every trick in the book to slow down our play, break up moves, win free kicks, comit fouls without conceding free kicks and on and on.
I hated the way we went out but it was very planned, very specific.

Honestly right now I would take Allegri

Can’t see any top managers from the continent wanting to take over when Mourinho’s reign finally comes to an end he’s destroyed the club single handily.

We might get lucky with the fact that Ten Haag wants to move on but I doubt there’s much in that

Rodgers has no reason to leave an ever improving Leicester team

So I think best options on the table at the moment is Nuno Espírito Santo or Ralph Hassenhuttl

Not single handedly , Levy helped.

Please don't read this Levy.

Two suggestions are Jose part deux.

The third is a fun watch, but far too loose with his emotions.

Exactly!!

why on earth would a manager like Nagelsmann want to join a club like ours and ruin all the good work he has done thus far in building an amazing reputation for himself and a shot at the bigtime with BIG clubs

And another good thing with Allegri is unlike Mourinho if you don’t fit into his plans he’ll tell you to fuck off and find a new club ASAP rather then do pathetic mind games that clearly hasn’t worked with Alli and Bale

Not saying he would come here, but he’s a very young man. He might wager he’d have a better chance of success at Real or Bayern having had a few more years experience.

It seems he is very like Pochettinno and sees value and has the belief in the project over 3-5 years and is given that time then we would all love him to take the reigns

It’s incredible the fact the guy is so young and an amazing manager I just can’t see him at this time taking over because we are a club in crisis.

Why Levy didn’t pull out all the stops to get him when Poch was sacked I’ll never know because his name was mentioned then too.

Whilst I’m not happy with Jose and wasn’t thrilled with his appointment at the time, I still feel Mourinho was a justified gamble by Levy at the time.
It’s not worked out and hindsight has proved it to be an error.

When Poch was sacked he had only been at Leipzig for about a quarter of a season. He's never been a likely get for us. People just link him with us because he is the new hotness and as much as the media likes tanking on us. They do see us as a somewhat big club that should at the very least be in the mix. Even if it is as the "loveable loser" that plays nice football.

Nagelsmann is currently proving himself at Leipzig. I want us to go for someone that is out to prove themselves. Either a promising manager like Parker, Potter or Gallardo. Or someone like Jardim who is in need of "redemption".

I've seen enough good sides play like shite against Brighton to tell they are very well coached. The same thing happened when teams played us in the early poch era.

In the absence of any other stand out candidates I would take Potter. Its a gamble, but basically everything is at the moment

Whoever we get has to be someone that is willing to come in and rebuild the team over a period of years. And we as fans and the club need to be willing to be patient with them and give them that time. No talk of sacking them if we finish 7-8 next season. We need some stability to properly get the rebuild going.

I’m a big fan of Potter too has worked hard to get his shot in the premier league and like you said you can tell how well his team are coached.

He’s also a very positive motivator of players and his teams and always comes across like this in his interviews

Not totally sold on Potter, but at least he has 11 players comfortable on the ball, passing and moving, trying to play the game in the right way and the hint of doing something very good. I'd take him, or any other manager, getting that at the least over fossil football any day of the week.
