This is a very revealing article on why Nuno appt went wrong:

Here are some excerpts:

His lack of communication:

Interesting anecdote about Mourinho:

Style of play:
Cheers for getting us around the paywall. I do have to wonder what the opportunity cost will be if (god willing) we actually get Conte through the door.

What would we quantify as the points lost through this fucking farce with Nuno, whether that be through the matches already played or the lost time having Conte get to know the team and instruct them through training. If we narrowly miss out on top 4, then it'd highlight how costly an error it was, and one that us mere forum junkies could spot.

Another in the long line of 'lessons learned' by Levy?

Interesting stuff.

Our players don’t half seem to be a bunch of dickheads.
Agreed. Quite frankly, having a 'vote' on who wanted Mourinho to stay is some shit behaviour on their part. If Levy had directly asked them individually then fine, but that kind of behaviour would have you axed (possibly literally) in a different setting.

I honestly think Conte will punch at least one of the cunts if he comes in, and I can't fucking wait.

Nuno got it right the first few games he was with us. It all went downhill when he had to implement Kane into his plans and he didn’t know how to. We should have stuck with a counter attacking, dynamic type of football instead of going back to playing Harry Kane ball
