Spence is not in the line up which is not surprising. He had a rather terrible game after Tuchel called him up. That suggests he is not really ready for a big stage. Perhaps he will get some minutes to experience the big stage as a substitution. National team games are all about players being able to play well at a bigger stage.

The biggest surprise above is Rashford. WTF is Tuchel doing calling him up? That's a huge surprise. Rasfhord is a drop-out player. Agents did some dirty work on Barca, probably via Real Madrid, to get him to sign there. I'm greatly surprised he was even called up.

Looks like an Woolwich-heavy lineup w/ Rice, Eze, Madueke and even Lewis-Skelly.
Who would you play over Rashford & how you doing G?

:pochshock2:

They need to change how you qualify for the World Cup.

These games are just awful to watch and demonstrate nothing.

In my own response, I woud rather see two World Cups, one for countries ranked at a certain point from 1 to whatever in their respective continents , or for countries below it to be part of a qualification group around the world for countries ranked from number 'X' with the top 4 going through to the World cup proper or into a play-off, with the lowest ranked from the top pool.

Something has to change.

Hendo, lofted cheek, burn and a few others. Though the squad boregate put together and carsley was developing was going places. TT has ripped all that apart. Hopefully the missing players come back in most who were young.

I know we should know what to expect from these kind of games now but fuck this is boring.

Atmosphere sounds dead too.

I assume Spence won’t be starting in the much tougher game away to Serbia. Unless TT surprises us all otherwise complete waste of time. Surely Spence could have played v Andorra it’s not like he would have been tested.

Let's be honest, England haven't been a particularly good watch for a while. We're just a very tough side to beat and have enough individual quality to get us to finals and semi-finals.

It's far more enjoyable watching both the England under 21's and the Lionesses.
